Buffing Whisper by increasing its airborne effectiveness is like trying to fix a broken leg with a shoulder massage. Like yeah sure your back feels nice and relaxed but you still can't fucking walk

Bungie hyping up these 27 exotic reworks and changes for ages, only to give extra airborne effectiveness to Whisper. Kill me now

saw this on reddit and thought it was funny The new meta will be to run Ward of Dawn and Whisper of the Worm, jumping up and down from the bubble and taking potshots at Oryx.

I thought we were gonna finally see a Cerberus+1 buff. Here's hoping for season 20.

Should have given DARCI that ability to scan champions and activate the right mod perk people have been talking about. It would feel more worthy of the heavy slot with that ability.

I thought the reworks were gonna be REWORKS not just slight tunes and buffs….

I was looking forward to underused exotics getting entirely new reworks, this is just disappointing as hell.

This TWAB is 95 percent a miss for me. You hit the nail on the head mostly. AE buffs for whisper and darci? What are they thinking? Overall the calls for another State of the game are feeling more and more validated as bungie continues to ignore a lot of things and in other cases take 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

Maybe it's just me, but I like how in the chart bungie released qbb had the second least usage-to-owner ratio, but didn't receive a single buff but instead a rework to it's blinding that arguably makes it less effective.

I'm gonna be brutally honest. To me like 75% of these changes to exotics felt like Bungie's thought process here was: "How can we alter these weapon stats/perks without actually buffing these weapons or addressing WHY they are not being used." A fair number of these weapons have just been flat out power crept out of existence in raw damage output (DARCI, whisper, Merciless) and these buffs are not actually changing that for PvE. Lastly, it will be hilarious if Wings of Sacred Dawn sniping becomes meta in PvP next season with some of these buffs to IAA

The whisper and DARCI “buff” is a huge slap in the face tbh. What in the hell where they thinking, especially on whisper??? It’s so disappointing… everything else in the TWAB was good for the most part

I don’t see Forerunner getting used a whole lot in nightfalls next season since the champion mods control the pve meta. No sidearm champ mods? No Forerunner.

Wildly surprising to see witherhoard and ghorn nerfed while HOIL remains untouched. Also hilarious that the promised rework to over 20 exotics turned out to be real changes to a couple and a few small stat changes around.

No thousand voices buff :( Also I hope they make intellect scale how much super energy you get from an orb of light. That could be interesting
