Its giving a small town in Indiana during the 80’s is plagued with a “curse” after a young teen boy named Will Byers goes missing and whilst his friends are looking for him they find a strange young girl that possesses inhuman powers and they suspect that she might be able to help find Will and end up discovering a world hidden under theirs.

It's giving a group of friends who went to investigate the mystery behind one of their sister's disappearance, along with another one's mom & aunt disappearance, but time drove them apart, then a funeral of a mutual friend who actually went missing brought them all back together in the small town, and they all decide to finally solve the mystery they got close to cracking all those years ago and I love it, might just write it
  • its giving stranger things and im so glad that running up that hill is blowing up again bc its such a good song <3

me and a friend did this a long time ago we thought it was fun, until we actually found secrets and rabbit holes in our town. cults and secret symbols and stuff. after 4 years of it, me and him separated and decided to never talk to each other about it anymore. it was fun and wild and traumatic while it lasted. before a comment says "why didn't you call the police" we did; they didn't believe us. love the playlist, it's awesome 👍.
  • This playlist gives these vibes so POV time: You and your close friends are struck with grief over the recent disappearance of a member in your friend group. After many police searches and calls, nothing comes up and one by one others dissappear as well. So, you and the others make a pact to find your friend and uncover the mystery if it's the last thing you do. The next time you and the missing friend are together however, and come back to reality, your town has been built over and commercialized. You and all your friends go to the local diner and ask for the date, to which the worker replies "Its March 18th, 2022" To which you and your friends answer with, "What are you talking about? Its March 17th, 1987?" [Horrible pov but its my first time so]
  • it reminds me of gravity falls, stranger things, and super 8 all in one; 70s-90s esq. summer transitioning into fall with a hint of supernatural danger and i’m LIVING for it🥰
  • You walked through the forest, leaves crunching with each step you took. According to what that crazy old man said, all the women who have seemingly vanished were all taken to the forest. Was it wise to listen to the possibly insane ramblings of an old man who barely went out and most likely believed that the moon was fake? Probably. But what other choice did you have? This was your only lead to find out what happened to all those women. Barely anyone listened to you when you questioned the disappearances of those women. They all deemed it as some weird conspiracy theory you made up. At least your friends believed you. Crunch, crunch, crunch. Speaking of friends... "Hey! After exploring for a bit, I think I found another lead!" You turned around, staring at your friend as they continued. "Basically I found a cave with strange carvings on the walls. I think those carvings were telling some kind of story, but I don't know." You followed your friend to the direction of the cave, the sun already setting.
  • Listening to this while writing at like 3 am is definitely a nice vibe to really unwind
  • not me living in a small town with a haunted village from the 1800s on an island..time to live up to this playlist

You pivot around, following the trail of blood with hurried steps up a floor, the stairs creaking beneath your feet, a wailing warning of what lies beyond the first door painted in crimson, sprayed across the musty wood and cracked walls. You push the door open, hand grasping at the gun holster, almost tasting the coppery smell tainting the air and tiled floor. It's a bathroom, you realize, once pristine white. In the middle lays a dying man bathing in a puddle of his own blood. Drip, drip, drip, rivulets of red fall down from the broken sink. You can't bring yourself to hope he'll be surviving the stab wounds in his chest or throat. The room is empty, devoid of life; you've never heard silence this loud, the unheard screams of pain and terror. You hear the footsteps behind you too late before a sharp stab of pain burns up your left side, and you crumple down, facing your attacker, gun at the ready. You shoot once, twice, and recognize the shocked face falling next to you too late to do anything but catch your lover's last breaths. Last time you saw him, it took you seconds to bring his face so close to yours and steal his breath with a chaste kiss; now, it feels like an eternity when he finally mutters, slowly, heartbreakingly, hand clutching at your shirt with the last vestiges of strength. "Ah, and I owed you a drink... Shame." You hold him as close as you can, feeling the blood seep in your clothes, your skin. It mixes in, yours and his, so dark in the pale moonlight. You want to hold him forever, feel the warmth in his body fade as your heart slows down. His grip on your shirt slackens. Your vision fades.

makes me remember of the book "HEX" and the teens group try to discover why Black Spring is haunted by Katherine
  • I don't live in a small town, but me and my best friend have a reoccurring theme of paranormal activity in our lives, with me being constantly haunted when I was younger, and her having more knowledge of ghost communication than anyone i know, after living in an apartment which our whole family accepted wasn't right. We like to go out at night on our golf cart and look towards more hotspot areas for sighting, but we haven't done it in a while since something crawled out of a lake and just like freaking PHASED in and out of visibility. Hoping to restart these night drives soon!
