  • i like it when people complain about filling up a 36 gallon tank. it costs the exact same amount monthly filling up that tank once or twice, vs filling up a 20 gallon tank 3 or 4 times lol! I'd rather have a huge tank and 700-800 miles of driving non-stop and get where i'm going. which is why i'm really considering a 60 gallon on my super duty!
  • So my dumbass bought a 23 tundra with the self grenading engine feature. Tundra sucked but i sold it before the recall. I was looking at the Tremor, the Rebel, and the ZR2. I couldn't find a Tremor with an 8 cy. The rebel financing was outrageous and Ram got rid of the Hemi! The ZR2 had the 8 cylinder and 1.9% financing. First chevy truck I've owned in 20 years. So far so good - if i don't drive like an idiot I'm getting high teens even 20 mpg. Ram has the best interior, I prefer the Coyote 5.0 and the F150 interior, but the ZR2 was the best option available. So far, I love it.
  • 12:37 - "I've been avoiding your bulges" 😂 this video was hilarious. I love it when you 2 record together

ZR2 with the diesel hands down. I love mine! Last trip I averaged 27mpg!
  • coming from a ZR2 Silverado owner, you CAN'T underestimate that front factory locker, it's come in clutch sooooo many times
  • Can’t wait for Chevy to make the hood block the entire windshield for ultimate off-road visibility of the sky
  • I went with a Frontier just because it wasn't forced induction. The gmc/Chevy mid size looks superior in areas when I was shopping. I just don't want forced induction out of warranty and I keep my vehicles a long time. Im also very aware there our many people who have zero issues with their turboed oem engines.
  • You never mentioned DEF fluid $ in the diesel. Fuel filter cost, oil change cost and diesel cost more.
  • Personally, the ZR2 with the 3.0L makes the most sense.
  • The one thing you forget is chevy/gm is the only one who does a back only heater which is amazing for all of us that work who dont want swampass.
  • @krashnpa
Both awesome choices, depending on what you prefer in engines/brand. I don't think you could lose with either truck, well, except maybe some hard-earned cash 😂.

Around here, diesel is at least $1/g more than gasoline. That more than offsets the higher mileage of the diesel. There are other reasons to buy a diesel, but on a 1/2 ton, it just doesn't pay fuel wise. Life of the engines may be another factor, but only time will tell if the diesel is that much better. Lastly, DEF and super expensive oil changes need to be factored in.
  • I’m a diesel fan. I’m so glad they started putting them in the 1500s.
  • @nmtz91
That Duramax over any other engine
  • I miss the not so long ago days where a F350 Lariat with the power stroke was $67k. I believe that was what I paid for ours in 2022.
  • I hate how the 24 tremor looks in white. Looks like a basic work truck lol. But mechanically it is the superior truck. Asides from the cheap shocks youre getting a much better transfer case and front diff, way more powerful engine and itd towing and payload arent slashed. They need to do something about the front grill though, its a downgrade from the previous year
