Many demand a hotel room so they can do drugs. The shelters have too many rules for them. That is why they are refusing the shelters.

After being moved and cited multiple times, they will start to go to the shelters. Our city puts a lot of money into our unhoused. They need to know encampments are not an option.

Why are we still asking these people if they want help or not? There is obviously many homeless/mentally ill drug addicts that cannot make those types if decisions
