ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE has WRECKED me . . . AGAIN (reaction)

What is most upsetting is that Miguel got mad at Miles fir becoming spiderman: AS IF HE INTENTIONALLY GOT BIT! Miles's dad dying couldnt be a canon event. The only reason why the spot & miles as spiderman was created is because Kingpin wanted his own family back and screwed up that part of the multiverse. Miguel shouldnt even get mad at miles for "creating" the spot, because if they didnt blow up the reactor, the universe wouldve collapsed ANYWAY

Miguel O'Hara is the Spiderman of 2099 and he's not like the other Spidermen. In his time all the Avengers including spiderman are gone.He worked for a corrupt company called Alcamax that forced him to do inhumane experiments. And when he tried to leave his boss got him addicted to super drug called Rapture.He wasn't bite by a radioactive spider he actively spliced his human DNA with Spider DNA in an experiment to cure his addiction and recreate the original Spiderman. The experiment made Miguel more spider then the others and gave him fangs that secret paralytic venom and claws that he uses to climb walls. That's why he looks like a vampire.

I cried so hard in theaters when Rio gave that speech to Miles. My parents don’t even say “I love you” to me, so it hit really hard. My parents aren’t bad parents, they’re just emotionally unavailable 🤷‍♀️

I love how they use color theory in this movie. Especially in the scenes with Gwen and her dad. (Like how Gwen's dad is in warmer, redder tones and Gwen is all blue and desaturated.) When they hug and everything just brightens up is just so amazing. And how when he realizes she is spiderwoman, he is half and half- showing the conflict. It just adds to the atmosphere that is this wonderful movie.

something very interesting about miguel saying miles is a mistake is that so was miguel. miguel was not meant to be spiderman- his universe is set in the future and had already had one. his gaining of spiderpowers was a freak accident, so if anything, he's the original anomaly. makes it seem likes he's fully projecting onto miles here

This movie was amazing from the story to the characters to the animation ESPECIALLY the animation omg hope you enjoyed your first watch well.

8:26 Boy is caught up, Gwen got a brother sprung. Studied her sooo much in the span of 48 hrs he can draw her perfectly from memory, AND create outfits that match her tastes….downBAD!

Love how Miguel conveniently overlooks that Pavitr's canon event wouldn't have happened without Miles creating Spot and even If it was going to happen by a different event, the wristbands still identified it as a canon event🤣

Seeing this in theatres was one of the best movie experiences I’ve ever had, my friends spoiled the fact that there was a cliffhanger tho and for the last thirty mins I knew what was gonna happen 😢

10:30 Okay. You stumbled across something that NO ONE ELSE saw (including me). That was one frame, and even his hair was different, but you got it. That's AMAZING that they put it in there and no one caught on.

Rewatching the movie a 2nd time just makes sense in a bunch of moments & hints. For someone who read Gwen’s comics when it first came out, I wasn’t surprised w/ the reveal or story. Growing up w/ the 90’s animated series and knowing spot. I was glad they made him be a huge threat & that you have the cinematic version too. In the comics Gwen does visit a universe where her & Miles get together. Hopefully we can get it in the next part. The shorty Spider-Man is from Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon which is one of the best!!

The Donald Glover scene was a crazy full circle moment. Bendis designed Miles after Donald Glover after seeing Glover dressed up as Spidey on the show Community. Glover had been sneaking in Spider-man references as part of his campaign to play Spider-man, something that started as a gag in his stand-up. Glover would later get to voice Miles in the cartoons and of course, played the MCU's Uncle Aaron in Homecoming who would later become the Prowler as you saw here.

38:15 Nah, all the character backstories are in the comics (Hobie, Scarlet Spider, Peni, Spider Ham, etc,) but the combining of all the characters in this way is uniquely towards the movies. And I think Miles G. Morales (Prowler Miles) is also just movie-made. 38:12 I think they just show the “comics” of the story events as an…artistic kind of thing? Like “this is what the movie would be, were it in the comics.”

was waiting for the third part of the tinkerbell series but this is good too!!!
