"An Elf archer getting boromired" đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł
  • "a flying Delta kinda day" I havent had liquid go up my nose for awhile. Thanks. LOL
  • The Easterlings wearing mask designed to look like monsters might be to give the impression that evil spirits haunt the desert

"In the next shot we see the ring continuing to fall down some steps" LOL
  • Maybe Bombadil gifts his jacket to the wizard once they part ways. And we all know what color that jacket will be. Blue wizard confirmed!
  • I’m thinking that first shot of Halbrand is when he’s leaving Eregion after his confrontation with Galadriel

I do have to say, this looks much better than the first season. I also always thought that it's a blue wizard, it just makes sense - they're the most mysterious and less known ones.

The quote we hear in the final shots of the trailer, “When darkness falls, there are always some who rise forth to shine,” is spoken by Annatar/Sauron. It's undoubtedly Charlie Viker's voice.
  • The nerd has spoken and now I can have my opinion on the trailer 😅
  • That masked guy looked like a Tusken Raider to me, from Star Wars
  • @ArgoX2007
Did anyone else notice during that sand tornado sequence that Nori isn’t alone? That sure looks like Poppy to me.
  • 12:38 I think you’re thinking of Sidon Ithano, the space pirate Finn almost runs off with in Episode 7 when they’re at Maz’s castle

If you zoom in on the last shot of the charge with the orcs in the background, you can see Adar standing next to a cage on a wagon with someone inside 👀
  • In the clip with the mystics and moths, it looked like someone in the background was raising a staff.

I still don't understand how gil-galad seems so clueless in this show when he was always one of the most aware elves when it came to the approaching darkness

I was at Comic Con today. Watching this now, and SPOILER I can clear up that Miriel is performing a ritual with the sea worm. She is being tried for some crime (most likely having led their people to a losing battle), and the way they decide this is to throw a person into the sea and if they survive the sea worm, they are declared innocent. The actress shared how she had to film this in a tank.

It looks like they might be playing the "Sauron's deception is deeper than we all thought" motif with Galadriel and Celebrimbor. My guess is Gal still secretly considers Sauron's proposal because it is her greatest weakness, one she still hasn't denied thousands of years later. Elrond's friendship with her, or perhaps a future relationship with Celeborn, helps keep her desires in check. Elrond always being the reasonable one when it comes to denying power is very lore accurate. I also feel like in that one shot Annatar looks different. Is it possible Cele doesn't see Annatar the same way we see him? Like he's being manipulated to see another form?

I like the idea of Balrogs being like chickens. They cant fly, but they do have “wings” to fall down slowly 😅
  • @TACTICALwaffle2
These “wings” on the balrog are definitely way more accurate to the description in fellowship of the ring
  • This is my favourite LOTR channel by far. It's not even close.
