this song means so much to me. my best friend recommended it to me and told me about how the band her's died too young, and that she was sad she couldn't see them perform. we bonded thru this band and we'd listen to them late at night when we couldn't sleep and we just wanted to talk with each other. almost a month ago, she passed away. just like the band, she was too young to be taken away from us. i'm getting my first tattoo from this song, in my best friend's honor. i'll try to live a life she would be proud of. i love you annie, and i miss you everyday. i hope her's finally can play you a concert now that you're both in the clouds. <4 u forever

I can only imagine what kinds of jams these guys could have kept making. Rest in peace, Stephen and Audun.

This one is underrated even by Her’s lovers

I remember the first time I heard this song, something rather unsettling/unexpected happened, but in a good way.

I was in the French TGV (high speed train) on my way to Paris. At the time I had just started getting into Her's.

Up until then, I had only heard their song 'Marcel', which a friend recommended me back in 2017. It became one of my most listened songs on Spotify, so I decided to listen to more of their songs, saddened to learn they had passed away through the comments.

I started listening to the 'Songs of Her's' album in the train, and was amazed by their music.

At 2:08, when Audun started speaking french, I tripped out, thinking that it was my train's announcer, and taking my earbuds out only to realize it was coming from the song, with this beautiful message :

"Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be parting ways soon, but
If you shall remember anything from this, keep in mind that perseverance is essential
Thank you very much, and see you soon"

I got overwhelmed by an eerie feeling, this was a truly amusing coincidence and for some reason it really stuck with me. :)

When Her's played this live, Stephen and Auden would "serenade" each other, lying on the floor, as an extended intro. It was the closing track on Songs of Her's, and they played it as their closer during their North American tour as well. I always felt it was the perfect track to end on.

Something about this song makes me so emotional. Her's never failed to tell a story. Never giving too much away, and always making you hungrier for more but somehow making a complete work of art.

The fact that it’s the last song from their last album feels strange especially the end part
