Her's were a Liverpool based pop duo consisting of Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading.

As outsiders from sleepy coastal towns on different coastlines, Stephen Fitzpatrick from Barrow in Furness and Norwegian Audun Laading met for the first time in Liverpool as students. The pair bonded over a love of peculiar, sardonic humour and wide-eyed observations. Their dream-pop was a natural extension of their solitary decoding of the cultures they grew up in. Her’s crafted the kind of perfect oddball pop that saw them draw effusive praise from the blogosphere for their colourful craftsmanship. Ostensibly off-kilter enough to slide into the headphones of anybody with a penchant for Ariel Pink or Mac DeMarco, Her’s rose above and beyond the contemporary British indie vocabulary.

  • im literally so sad, i discovered them a few months ago and i fell in love with them & their music. i saw a "rest in peace" comment and i was like what?! look at them in the picture, so happy. its so sad that people young & kind dont get to live as long. i hope they were happy and that they knew how much they've helped and continue to help people.

Her's will forever be in my heart. I just discovered them recently and it saddened me to hear that they passed. I'm going to continue to listen to their music for the rest of my life. I hope they're resting well.

Rip. All your songs should be on this playlist.
  • They remind me of the 80s. I fell in love with the guitarist for the way he was so free in the way he played. They both made awesome music and im so sorry they didnt get to grow old and grace us with more songs. Hopefully we get to see them play in heaven. I sure hope theres music there.
  • I lived close to where their last gig were and bein a upcomin artist as well, the news destroyed the day and me the morning i found out. I remember when i first saw and heard Invitation To Hers it just dropped and the sound and energy was THERE. Rest in peace to them they were literally on the rise. its a pain in the ass and heart to realize we cant hear more now. the music always lives on, as a reminder and way to forget the hurt and relive what they left in this world. 🖤

Im pretty sure they made it to the gig. Rest in Peace

This song is always tough to listen to, knowing what happened. They had so much potential, only to have it stripped from them. It's equally hard cause my sister lost her life from a drunk driver, driving on the wrong side of the freeway. It's hard to deal with.

This girl I worked with went to the last show they ever performed in Arizona i believe and then she heard that next morning about the news. She was so heartbroken for so long.
  • @CoryWillowTree
Their music is beautiful, haunting and lovely. I am so sad they didn't get to live a full long life. Why? why do people not drive safely. all the what if's about that scenario of that on-coming vehicle hitting them is upsetting. I agree with others' comments...i like to think they are forever alive because their music keeps playing and somewhere in Somerland they have a live show for all on the other side to enjoy.
  • @rizza357
i just discovered them yesterday, and was suddenly faced with the news that they are gone now. their music is just what i love, and it's too bad i discovered them late. they could've created more music until now, but all i could is to listen to their released music. may they rest well

Damn it, the more I listen, the more I love their music. Can't believe they passed away.
  • Even if they were gone, their songs still remains in each people’s heart ❤️ Drunk driver rip their souls away but their songs still stays alive which never dispart ...
  • Cada vez que los escucho me da esa sensación de melancolía y nostalgia a la vez. Siempre estarán conmigo a donde sea que vaya<3
  • @JEBEmpires
Discovered them, just hours ago. What a tragedy, but their archive is a triumph ❤
