  • Like a bird talking to the wind, this song performed by Aoife and Noam is a real moment of grace. Thanks a lot

no words can express how great Aoife's voice is and Noam just masters any sort of song put before him on any number of strings given. Sounds so perfect. Like the wind and a mountain steam.
  • Aoife O'Donovan, one of the best and more rewarding companies on this quarantine. Thank you so much for that

This is such a classic! It should have a million views by now!

Oh, I love this!  Especially since it is outdoors and the bird in the background...Perfect!
  • This is the most beautiful music I can recall. Amazing voice.
  • Your rendition is so sweet that you made chirping birds around you willing to join you
  • That is a tricone National plectrum (long neck 4-string) guitar, circa 1929. He had talked about converting one to 5-string, like a regular banjo, but I guess couldn't bring himself to do it. I think what works nicely is that this instrument has more sustain than a typical percussive banjo, so he can slide around and the notes fade subtly without cutting off abruptly. She's playing a Martin 0-17 or 00-17. What an absolutely beautiful song.
  • I come back every month or so to watch and listen. Please, oh please, could the two of you put this on an album or release it as a single? Your version of Fish & Bird still gives me chills too.
  • Aoife has a beautiful lilting voice. I first heard her singing Blaze Foley's " Clay Pigeons " magnificently and this song is equally impressive. The name sounds very Irish, but then , we like to claim as many great singers as we can. Brilliant. Gerry Farry. 👍

That is one of the sweetest voices I have Ever heard.

Aiofe, I love your beautiful voice, playing and passion for music. There’s another song I’d love to hear you sing: The Water is Wide. If you take requests, this is mine. Thank you for the fantastic music! Jo
  • This is a magical performance and really captures the lyrics. Making me a little weepy at the moment...
  • How beautiful. Thanks for your wonderful music.
