Modding Fallout 4 VR and I go way back. Looking up how to mod fallout 4 VR used to be one of my favorite past times. But that was before the FRIK mod for Fallout 4 VR. Having a full VR body mod for Fallout 4 is a game changer. And I thought I would install it with Vortex and that would be it. But then, my Rift S died, and on top of FRIK, I am playing it wirelessly on a Quest 2 through Oculus airlink. It is UN REAL- but you know this, who reads descriptions before they watch a video. I'll put the mod list at the very bottom of this description, enjoy! Ta Ta!

The constant jittering and shaking is actually lore accurate since I’m always jacked up on 5 different kinds of Chems at any given moment.

"sirens were blowing in the distance, which is... alarming" Well, yes. That's what, like, sirens do.

8:14 - this is what I came here for: reloading in VR adds sooooooo much immersion to the experience. I went back to FO4 from onward/pavlov/H3/HL:alyx and it felt so cheap going back to the single-button reloads. FO4 was great as a pioneer for AAA games on VR, but it needs physical reloads for me to really get into the spirit of it.

Once someone develops a way to actually reload the guns for this game, it’ll be hands down the coolest vr experience since half life alyx

Immediately after this video ended I opened Steam and started installing FO4VR again for the first time in years. Here's to modders: fixing Bethesda's messes for decades.

A good part of the joy of this video is simply a VR veteran finally getting to experience PCVR via wireless and the completely different feeling that brings.

So refreshing to hear somebody speak positively of Fallout 4. I'm just getting into VR and am excited to play Fallout 4 VR and see what the mods are like, especially after watching this.
  • @TheWingman.
that moment when you’re in the middle of watching another one of habie’s videos and he uploads- life is good. :)
  • @slimybeef277
Habies uploads always make my day considerably better
  • I can play Fallout for literally a whole 8-12 hr day sitting. When I'm done I think back and some of the play is so immersive it seems like I was actually in the game. I cant imagine playing this in VR. I'm currently moving into a new apt looking for a great VR and possibly a gaming PC to go with it. So many years of being broke playing fallout cause I couldn't afford internet or sometimes Xbox Live. Falling in love with the game. I'm so excited. I have a nice budget for it all now. I so deserve this.

If you want the foggy weather without the Silent Hill overhaul, the Vivid Weather mod has it built in, it's by the same people and it only gives you the foggy ash fall weather, without dragging you into Silent Hill

The fallout 4 modding journey has finally come full circle. It started with fun over immersion, now we have reached the point where they join hand in hand, and work together. Its beautiful.

This has totally ruined my study session. And i love it.

Sounds like the dream for me, when I first booted up Morrowind back in 2002. My first taste with VR was in the mid-to-late 90's trying out Dactyl Nightmare and another title I can't remember at a electronics store as a 9-10 year old. It really blew my little smooth brain of what was to come.
  • that's really cool i hope i have money to buy VR headset like you too
  • @mint5438
Bro, you gotta try Re4 now that you own a quest 2. One of the best VR experiences I've had since the first playthrough of Saints and sinners.
  • Quest 2 was/is my first VR headset and I'm also just blown away by how incredible the experience has been with stand-alone titles and the ability to play amazing PCVR games (wirelessly). And all of it for a very affordable price! This excites me to pick up Fallout VR on the next sale, thanks for posting this video!

I don't know how but you've managed to master putting 20 minutes worth of content into short 5-10 minute videos while still having it be really entertaining and not having it feel rushed and I applaud that, keep it up.
