Pavlov VR is my favorite VR shooter. But understand, I could have used any virtual reality shooter game for US Army sniper training. Taking sniper tests is something that is just perfect for the medium of VR. VR lets you feel like you are really testing your marksmanship skills, which unfortunately for me, I do not have. I had a lot of fun sniping in VR though, so I needed an excuse to show that off, and here we are. Thank you so much for reading this description, it makes me feel like they are worth typing. If you came here looking for links, "as always they are in the description down below." -Phillip Defranco

1:12 congrats on getting more views than wikihow "where there's a will there's a way"

I failed out of sniper school back in 2014... and I can confidently say... this video is 100% accurate and I wish it had come out sooner. I may have passed if I had seen this before going.

My class took the ASFAB in high school. Insanely basic at the time. My scores recommended I become a nuclear technician. Yeah, OK there let me manage the submarines reactor. Great idea

0:36 i have to admit, this was absolutely me the first time i ever played pavlov. I had no idea how to put on attachments and just used iron sights the whole time

3:50 Believe it or not, it's at least 4 times easier to do that in real life (the plain card from 500m) than what you did.

his logic of "if you shoot it 5 times at 100 meters it's the same as the other thing" is just the exact same thing of "if i bake a cookie at 1,000° for 1 minute it's the same as baking it at 100° for 10 minutes"

The first thing for marksmanship is the 4 fundamentals: breathing, sight picture, body position, and trigger squeeze. Your breathing is vertically breaking up your grouping, while your squeeze is horizontally breaking it. Hold at the bottom or top of your breath, and slowly squeeze until the rifle decides to fire and you will have a much better group. Love, and old vet who loves VR.
  • I literally never leave comments on videos, and this is the first video I have watched from this channel. But in my opinion this is one of the most wholesome gaming videos I’ve ever watched! Just reminds me of the early days of gaming channels, when the humour was real and the content wasn’t forced. And seems like you really care about your audience. I don’t know if you read your comments but keep doing you man!!
  • "Aim with the hand, shoot with the mind, kill with a heart like arctic ice." That's the true essence of being a sniper: logically determining who needs to die to complete the mission.

The real training: Step one: be polite Step two: be efficient Step three: have a plan to kill everyone you meet

"don't rack the slide every time you reload, you're wasting rounds..." completely forgets what racking is "i hate all of you so much"

  • 2:42 That's the most accurate statement, I've ever heard, on this entire site; honestly the mere mention was cutting it close but I respect the attempt all the same.

7:00 bro first it was "that's my discord not yours" Now it's "if you just turned your phone vertical to check if I'm verified" and there was even a message in the ak reaload to the pause people. This channel is hilarious!
