It looked like the local police authorities did not have a quick way to tell the secret service there was a man on that roof.

You're all trying to sound so balanced and literally Politically correct, that it became hard to listen to. It's like trying to say nice things to a spoiled kid hoping he/she will behave better but only making the kid more spoiled. The truth is, that is the situation with Russia and America today -- anyone who dares to point out where both Leaders could genuinely make an adjustment to improve their standing with others, is seen as an enemy to contend with. Most people see what many of us are seeing, but are starting to think that for the sake of a more quiet and peaceful life, it is better to stay silent. Hope America never becomes like Russia, where people have become conditioned to not having a say in anything and regard that as the normal way to live.
