Most people think that you can't go to an antique store to pick stuff because there wouldn't be any way for you to be able to turn a profit on those items because they are already priced to high, with no margin remaining. We tell you how that isn't always the case and give you some tips on how to find some of those items.

It's always so funny to me how some folks pass over stuff that is AMAZING to me, and I'm sure I pass over stuff that other people find amazing to them! To me the antique I want more than anything I've seen in this entire video is the blue and grey potentially Westerwald pot in the top right of the frame around 16:01. I LOVE those things.
  • Nice video. I studied history in college and have only recently gotten into antiques. I live in NC and I'm more into European things so it's difficult sometimes to find things I personally like. But the knowledge on these things in general really interests me. I want to learn how to identify value, the history of different items, their uses, and creators

Love your shop! Do you ship? If so, price on red pain candle box?

I have to subscribe, great content here. At the last of this video, there is a large clear glass jar that is a Pig. What was that used for and what is it worth? When my Mom passed away she left me one like that. I hope someone replies. Thanks
