  • I'm surprised there is any Jadeite to show. I thought Martha Stewart had it all.
  • I came by this video this morning and just wanted to say I loved it. Thanks for sharing

  • I have my mother's full set of blue moon and stars that I love. I think it's absolutely beautiful.
  • I have so many of these! More older than these! I am 82 yrs old and most of my items have been in the family for years! Anyone want to buy them??
  • Thank you so much for showing these beautiful antique pieces to us I really enjoyed watching it🌸😊🌸
  • Thank you, Lou for showing all this beautiful glass. When my brothers and I were kids, my mom would take us to "second hand" stores and antique shops. I remembered her telling me how to tell the difference between blown glass and pressed glass. Mom picked up some very beautiful pieces of glass, one of which was a green Moon and Stars banana boat. I never knew the name of the pattern but now, thanks to you, I do.

My dad bought a large red Moon and Stars compote for my mom's birthday in the 60s. It was displayed on the TV in the living room and held hard Christmas candy during the holidays. I inherited it when she passed. I found one in an auction a few years ago, won the lot and started an online reselling venture. I love glass!

Good Afternoon, My father worked for Anchor Hocking from mid 1950 to the early 80's. We had sooo much Anchorware. Cobolt Blue is my absolute favorite color. I'm still trying finish out a collection of Georgian Glassware by Anchor Hocking. My sister worked for AH and did alot of the hand painting as well.
  • The painted Fire King was decorated by a company called Gay Fad owned by Fran Taylor in Lancaster Ohio. They bought blanks from a few other manufacturers as well. They decorated glassware from 1938 to 1963 with fruit, flowers, and ivy plus many novelty items. They used ceramic paints and baked the designs on.
  • At 9:39 in the video there are Swanky Swigs out front and a few on the back of the shelf. I've been collecting Swanky Swigs for about 50 years. They held pimento cheese made by Kraft.

Lou, I feel like you just took me on a tour of my Mother's china cabinet and boxes of her glassware that I have. I inherited everything from her and also my aunt, who had no children. She called me her favorite niece and so I inherited all of hers also. My mother and father were married in 1937, so I have some beautiful dinner sets and all sorts of glassware. One of her favorites is a green depression glass measuring cup. So, I will be using this video a lot to identify my pieces. I have the candlewick and moon glass. This is so exciting!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!😊
  • Wow, I learned a lot! So many pieces I've never seen before in MY travels! I could have watched this longer (hint, hint!)---Kudos on the music today!
