I´ve heard about Dillon before, but never knew you can create furries based on your Miis. Nintendo is sleeping on this feature!

I seem to remember this game was mostly influenced by Mad Max. The original game was more focused around being a wild west theme, and was changed to post-apocalyptic because "that's what players were more familiar with at the time" (for whatever reason).
  • If the Mario & Luigi series can come back after alphadream went bankrupt, then this series can come back too.
  • I remember being hooked on the demo for this game. Shame I never got the full version.

I remember playing this and the other two dillion games back in the day. Had a lot of fun with them. R.I.P Vanpool, you will always be in my heart.

this game actually looks really cool XD I kind of wonder if I could still get my hands on this

Mii-focused games are great. Tomodachi Life (and Miitomo) were wonderful

Well, when I mod my 3ds, this game will be one thing I'll be looking for.
  • @FourheadWeapon
this seems like a crazy kind a game, shame it didn't take off because it looks like it's got a love behind it
  • Always super obsessed with this series since the first entry I was surprised and happy they went with a new style for the second sequel/soft reboot. I've donated few physical copies for free to some of my friends and lucky winners who've followed me since the game cost £5 few years ago, I did pay full price for this. Before the eshop servers shut down I did intentionally pay full price again for the digital version just to put some money in what was left of vanpool's pockets before they went under which is very sad because these guys have made very unique original games and done new spin off takes on already existing series. We've lost a very talented n underrated studio that made some stand out games. Sadly gaming industry is getting more and more stale, thank god we still have the indie scene.

Well all the Vanpool employees who maked Dillon's Trilogy games could make a Studio like the Ex Rare Employees who now are Playtonic who are remaking Yooka and Laylee
  • This game is very underrated, and it was released at the wrong time when the Switch already came out a year before it. BTW, this game and Detective Pikachu were both announced together in a direct back in 2017. If Nintendo does plan to revive Dillon with a new development team, idk if it will be a trilogy remaster or something else, but. It definitely needs to be played by more players. (Oh yeah, my channel handle is based on the character.)

I was always confused as to why they rebooted the series from an old western setting to a post apocalypse/ mad max style setting after just 2 games.

So . . . meta referencial stocking game farm simulator action beat-em up Final Fantasy knockoff racer minigame collection with Takuyuki/Miyamoto love child Anthropomorphs. Throw platforming and house decoration in there and this might be the full package.
  • I've bought this game day one, it could've used more marketing, a lower price(40 bones, Day 1), and honestly, the ability to swap between Dillon and your Amiimal character in regular battles, and of course, more boss fights. Underrated, and I miss the Amiimals a lot, Vanpool cooked with the idea.

I haven't watched farther into the video yet, but now I'm wishing I had gotten this game.
