I'm still upset that this didn't win the best soundtrack in the 2022 Game Awards.

Emily: :Its Xenoblade so its either a sad piano themes or a phenomenal guitar..." The final theme:"She ain't ready for this."
  • @Luigipotter
The red reflection in your glasses during the camara glitch is so fitting for Moebius battle.

Some of the other XC3 tracks that absolutely crushed my emotional capabilities were "Future Awaits", "Where We Belong", "A Step Away", "Lost Days Of Warmth" and "Kaleidoscopic Core". The latter one is a remix of a song from XC2 called "Drifting Soul", which is one of the most popular songs out of everything Xenoblade has.
  • "Carrying the Weight of Life" is XC3's counterpart to XC1's "Engage the Enemy" and XC2's "Counterattack."

Yes! A part 2 is definitely a good idea. Normally, I'm okay with you listening to a couple of tracks so you get the general feel of the soundtrack. But Xenoblade 3 has so many different styles and composers that a second video is much appreciated. The Weight of Life stood out beautifully during the game awards orchestra.

A part 2 is very needed. While you did listen to the title screen, the main theme of the game is actually “A Life Sent On.” Other great tracks are “A Formidable enemy”, “Words that Never Reached You”, “Shining Aspiration; Inherited Melody”, “The Bereaved and Those Left Behind”, and “Homecominy”. There are also 2 vocal tracks in the game, “A Step Away” and “Where We Belong” which are very good as well. Edit: Forgot to even mention the dlc which has some of my favorites. “Cent-Omnia Region - Day”, “Redeem the Future (both phases)”, and “Future Awaits” are all phenomenal 😉

Your reaction to Moebius Battle says it all. Speechless, shocked, whatever it is, it left quite an impression. Xenoblade music was always amazing, but XC3 came and cranked it up to eleven!

This is one of the games that even if you listen to 25 songs of the soundtrack, there’s still like 60 absolute bangers you miss. All 142 songs in this game are honestly amazing, some in different ways. I listen to this soundtrack a lot in my free time.

There are two things I wanted to point out regarding Moebius' theme and The Weight of Life. Moebius' symbol is the infinity symbol, and the chanting will actually swirl around your head in that pattern if you're wearing headphones. The middle part of the Weight of Life also contains a small snippet of Engage the Enemy and Counterattack from Xenoblade 1 and 2.

One XC3 track that always, ALWAYS makes me tear up is "Lost Days of Warmth". It does that to start, but especially after all the scenes in the game where they play that song, it's like they train you to expect a tear-jerking moment whenever you hear that song.

Can you believe this OST lost to God of War: Ragnarok at the Game Awards??? Absolutely robbed....

If you thought the regular Moebius theme was a banger there’s another version that’s even more of a banger, but it’s kind of a spoiler. Also it is criminal that Carrying the Weight of Life only plays 2 times in the whole game, and they’re both in the first half of the game. Also Brilliant Wings is a remix of the battle theme for Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected.
  • @marche800
There were a lot of battle tracks in this one, so if you do a part 2 it'd be good to listen to some field and cutscene music. A lot of people are saying A Life Sent On and I agree that song is THE most important piece of music on the soundtrack a must hear. I'd also recommend Eagus Wilderness, Erythia Sea, Agnus Colony, A Life is Born, and Ouroboros
  • What’s crazy is that there’s so many recommendations for different tracks in the comments of all of Xenoblade soundtrack react vids. There’s so many bangers and everyone has different favorites. It’s beautiful.
  • @cyberrb25
If I recall, Tactical Action is actually 2 tracks in-game. The first part of the OST'd file is one track, for a moment where the players are outside combat, and the other is the battle-side track, and both swap to each other every time they go in and out of combat, dynamically (as in, they can be matched together in Audacity, or Adobe Audition or the sort, and you can turn down and up, and they wouldn't dissonate at all).
  • @geraldthegoose1685
Fun fact: the flutes that are used are actually custom made and they were given to the GOTY orchestra to play the xenoblade chronicles 3 medley
  • @kyurei4478
This video really was a roller-coaster of emotions to say the least: Literal camera freeze followed by camera's slight malfunction into an audio cut in the headphones to finish with rebirth as a whole new woman. Xenoblade's music provokes this sort of crazy reaction. The music was just too powerful! I think when you're reacting to the music and you completely forget you're doing it to just vibe and listen to it, there can be no better proof that it's unbelievably good. Your reactions really translate how great the Xenoblade music is. Looking forward to part 2. A DLCs round would be awesome too!
