Face the Storm- a Dungeons and Dragons Inspired Original Song

Didn’t expect a Dorian song so soon, but I’m not complaining. He was an absolute joy to have for the last 14 episodes and I can’t wait to see when he pops back in (especially with the two part run of EXU coming)

[SPOILERS] Dorian is one of the best characters of Critical Role I have seen and heard. He isn't a pervy bard like Scanlan and his rolls as a musician aren't always good, but he is a good friend, a good fighter, a very charismatic character and a responsible brother. I will miss his interactions with the other members of the Bell's Hells and I am excited too see him soon on his new adventure. He may be a second son, but he is the storm.

Okay but I need to add a tally to the "times I wish I could animate" board: It starts with Dorian singing in a tavern, and the Hells are watching and supporting and at "Rising I'll Soar" his wing boots do the thing and he flies around the room and "Time to face the storm" it cuts to the Hells in combat, "See the lightning crack!" Imogen, "Hold through each attack!" Orym and Ashton, "Persevere-" Laudna, "Act bold-" Fearne, "And be brave!" Chetney, "And show them all the face of the storm!" The whole group standing together with Dorian at the center with his lute, supporting and buffing his party

I like how I got a notification for a song called Face the Storm while there is a literal ice storm happening right outside my window. For the briefest of moments I thought it was just advice.

Some time ago our group began a campaign based in and around a city dominated by Genasi. My character a homebrew Circle of Storms druids first words in the campaign where "Hi, Im Skura, I'm a storm." She would love this song.

Ouch, this still hurts! I can't say Dorian was the best part of C3 so far, because there have just been so many amazing characters in this lineup, but he's made the show noticeably better with his presence and I was honestly hoping he'd stick around for the whole campaign! 😢
