Fun fact: Hakita started composing The Death Of God's Will a mere 9 hours before it was added to the game, and when it came out the game used an unfinished version because he literally did not have enough time to record the live instruments for it
-
Imagine just: β "Lets 'get ready for some ULTRAKILLIN' music!" Terminal theme starts playing
-
I would love to see you react to all of the songs from the new seventh layer update! In my opinion its some of hakita's best work, you can tell he really improved and outdid himself and i think you would enjoy listening to them
-
53:43 thats in the actual game
-
Deep Blue always impresses me, the seamless switching from the calming, oceanic vibe to breakcore and back.
-
Death Oddysey is reminiscent of Metal Slug's mummy levels.
-
What's not mentioned for The Death of God's Will are two things: 1. This is just a reprisal of Divine Intervention, which probably explains why Hakita was able to bang it out in nine hours initially since he was using bones from another project for the stems used. 2. The ending is heard at⦠the ending. No spoilers, but it's played on a static image closing act II.
-
fun fact He's the light in my darkness's end transitions into Death oddysey rly good (as it is the corresponding level)
-
the end of "he is the light in my darkness" is meant to transition seamlessly into "death odyssey", hence the guitar thing at the end
-
your hair is straight up majestic
-
These song stand pretty solid on their own, but you had quite a few which were directly linked, that's where the weird endings come from. Nonetheless it was a joy to watch with the community.
-
Always a joy to see my favourite mind numbing game get some musical attention.

58:43 just in case you didn't know: in order to avoid possible confusions, you must probably know that "Heaven Pierce Her" is a band that is created, and ran by Hakita himself; it's moreso a pseudonym than an actual band if that makes sense, and he's the one who produced the entirety of the game's soundtrack (with the sole exception of individual tracks made by Keygen Church, like for example "Tenebre rosso sangue.") Hopefully that clears some misinterpretations! Edit: nevermind that, someone has already mentioned that just moments after your statement lol. Whatever- you can never be too sure!
-
13:44 aka Me vs that blood thirsty robot that using coin as a Martial arts
-
i really hope that after you've done all of the reactions, that you listen to the entire soundtrack in order. it really is a great experience!
-
I always appreciate a good ear for music, thanks man
-
Just finished learning a few of these guitars and come home to see this in my feed! Epic

Hakita wrote Deep Blue for Ultrakill and released it at level 5-1. But then he added saxophone to the music with a hotfix update, making it a banger. Edit: The saxophone may have been added before the release of 5-1, but after the youtube release. You can find some unofficial versions with it.

10:16 If I remember correctly, the publisher wanted that pause to happen two or three times consecutively, but Hakita was like "nah, I got this".
