Hammock Camping Under Bridge

I had an amazing camping trip! I secretly set up a #hammock under a bridge on a remote road. There was a store close by selling step 2's and a variety of grocery items I used to form a #campingmeal. I slept pretty well, aside from some occasional road noise.

Steve consistently makes the best content on YouTube. We are blessed.

“I’ve slept under some busy bridges and, that really brought out the trolls.” 😂😂 I will never tire of his random humor.

Steve’s Under-the-bridge fondu. “What am I doing to my body?” “This is not a meal to ever make.” “Chewing doesn’t seem to do much.” “Something was crunchy in there.” Can’t wait for the cookbook.

Watching this old video, and tears to my eyes as crazy neighbor has passed away!! But again another great video, thank you!

I always find it funny when Steve is super not stoked with his meal of the night 23:30 “Something was crunchy in there, um”

Thank you, Steve. Take care of yourself. Hope Glen makes a full and swift recovery. So sorry to hear he's been hurt.

26:25 "no mosquitos" as a bug is running across your chest is just perfect and honestly what I love and expect

Not only do we like to watch stealth camping and cooking from you but we watch consistently because of you Steve. Speedy recovery to Glen!

Hoping Crazy Neighbour has a speedy and complete recovery. Making sure we're up to date on our tetanus shots when going to camp under a rusty bridge is definitely a bit of sage advice we only get when Camping with Steve ❤

Wishing Crazy Neighbor a speedy recovery! Very cool camping location Steve! Thanks for bringing us along!

Spending lots of time in the store figuring out dinner doesn't make you look like a shoplifter - it makes you look like a stoner. 😄

Wishing Glen no pain and a speedy recovery.

Hey Steve. I’m so glad you make these videos. I’ve been dealing with lots of life recently and it’s just a nice serene break from the chaos. Thanks bud!

You're my hero Steve. I recently lost my sister and am actually planning a memorial for her so it's weighing heavy on me. Your strength gives us all strength. Thank you so much!!❤❤❤

Speedy recovery to crazy neighbor. Now that I'm 63, I'm even more cautious about where I put my feet. Car trips when I was a child always involved me looking out of the window and fantasizing living in different, usually "non-house" places. Whenever I ride the train and can look out of the window at leisure, I still do that. I also have always wanted to camp/stay in a maintenance shack on top of an old building. This is the first time I've told anyone these things because I always thought it was my own personal bit of weirdness that no one else shared. Thanks for showing me that I was wrong.
  • Steve, Chef here... So, you had a decent chance at making a sauce believe it or not. The quality of the cheese you get from a convenient store was probably the biggest culprit. Shredded cheese actually is coated in a thin layer of starch. The problem is the ham expels water, and the cheese expels oil. Those two aren't friends without the aid of an emulsifier. Believe it or not there are many pantry staples that can be used to emulsify. Any easy on in this instance would be mustard. Another option would have been to use the ham as a "bread" and make grilled cheese. Then simply slap it onto your tortilla and walla. Good Content. Thank you!

"Chewing doesn't really seem to do much." "Something was crunchy in there." Steve, you're never boring.
  • Sending love and support to Steve, Crazy Neighbor, and all those going through hardships right now!

Noticed you are still wearing your wedding ring. Kudos to you. I'm still wearing mine and the spouse has been gone for 23 years. They are gone, but never, ever, ever forgotten.

I love that Steve measured the cheese with his heart. Truly relatable content.
