The statin-mania is sickening. Doesn't matter which specialist I see, first thing they say is: "you should consider statins". And every time, I have to educate them about my very low triglycerides, high HDL, low ApoB, low Lp(a), low A1C, low hs-CRP, etc. And this is all thanks to people like yourself, Dr. Bikman and other that educate the public. Thank you!

I came here for the science, but I was blown away by the profound personal philosophy at the end. I'm jealous of this man's roots in family and community. It is something I sorely lack, and I know I'm not alone.

For years I also did everything in my power to get my type 2 diabetics ( that I inherited from other docs) off insulin and cure their diabetes. My next door neighbir is T2D and was just put on insulin. I told him all this will do is make him worse . He refuses to see a better doctor who really understands diabetes. It infuriates me to see malpractice in treating T2D.

I have been trying for a year to get off insulin. I have it reduced fro, 130 units to 52 units. My Dr will not agree for me to completely go off it. I am following a strict keto diet and that’s how I was able to reduce it this much so far. I also found out that I have fatty liver with bordering stage 3 fibrosis I feel like I’m on journey all by myself. I finally have a real liver Dr that I will see at the end of March. It has been a very long road so far. I just feel like I’m starting to see a positive change in my health. Type 2 for 30 years. Insulin pump and sensors. I’m taking metformin 1000 x2. I tried getting off my blood glucose did raise after 48 hrs so I’ve resumed taking it. My Dr insist that I take Crestor. I do not take it. Mounjaro on the first week lowest dose gave me such deep depression I wanted to end my life also could not eat it made me so sick constantly feeling nauseous. I had this problem with. Byatta

  • @GoldenBlaisdale
Does anybody know the study quoted that shows zero calcium score? No need for statin?
  • @daveb8449
Nobody should ever take a statin at any time. Period.
