I'd sue the hospital for millions of dollars

A similar story like this one happen in Colombia, but they didn't realize the babies were swap. They only found out when the two babies, after they grew up became friends in university, and found out they were switch at birth when one of them started making comments how much she resemble her sister and her mother. After looking through family pictures, and finding out they had the same birthday and were born in the same hospital, did they realize what had happen. ....
  • How stupid ! Can't believe these irresponsible nurses would fuck up this badly as to take one whole year of baby and parent bonding out their lives, so easily avoided with a little care while handling someone else's baby.

This is why my sister insisted to keep her son in the same room as her the whole time. She didn't allow the nurses to take him to the nursery with the other babies.

Boy, we sure need some serious immigration reform. When you force a pregnant mother to leave because of bureaucratic paperwork requirements you see how ridiculous the rules are. So glad they got their son back.

The baby looks like the dad..The other couple surely had to know the baby was not theirs..
  • What a horrible thing to have happen to you. I hope everything works out well for all involved.
  • Why wouldn't the government give the baby a passport and visa to go to his own country? That is strange. They should try and claim his US citizenship at the US embassy in el salvador, then he would have no trouble flying to the US. I gave birth in italy and claimed my baby's citizenship. The process was very easy and streamlined. They even let me apply for his passport at the same time.
  • Both the mother’s will forever carry those other babies in their hearts because in way those were each their babies, too. That had to be one of the hardest choices to make. Hopefully, now days they can do a DNA test on questioning situations like this as soon as possible before the parents get fully attached.

If the child's father is a US citizen he qualifies for citizenship immediately despite where he is born.

What a moral dilemma. I feel like if I was in this situation, it'd be near impossible for me to give up the child I'd been raising, despite it not being mine. But it'd also find it impossible not to want my own baby. I'd want to keep both. Which obviously isn't fair. So I'd at least ask that I still be in the child's life. Get updates of them regularly, and see them every now and again. But even that would be extremely hard.
  • Heart breaking but also so happy at the same time that they have there bio baby boy back . He is so so handsome . ♥️

Both babies are so cute In Islam if you breastfeeding (a child that is not yours) it will be like your own child and they will be like brothers and sisters, and the love between you and that child will never end. Thanks for sharing.
