#PleaseSaveVN #SOSHCMC #SOSVietnam On October 30, 2021, a group of people living in Phuoc Kien commune, Nha Be district, HCMC pulled together to the commune committee to ask for the 3rd batch of relief money according to the resolution 97 of the People's Council of HCMC. A woman representing the group recorded a video of a young man wearing an orange jacket, questioning officials here why they still haven't received the relief money. He crossed his arms and tried to stay calm when he mentioned the current situation: "Today it's Saturday, 10:15AM, still during office hours. A lot of people here have the same question, why are they already registered but have no their name (on the relief list)? Now people asks all of officers to represent 1 person to answer our question. If you keep silent like this, is it the people's government?"

The woman recorded the young man then panning the camera to the desk of the staff here. So clear, while this young man was talking, 4 female officers were still working. Like they're not listening what he said and pretending he doesn't exist. The young man continued: "A silence! We still follow the administrative order, according to the legal order. We have questions, we go to the local government, but we receive silence". The female officer in a black long-sleeved T-shirt sitting in front of him, from beginning to end, did not raise her face even once. She wanted to hide from what was going on. At this point she said: "I have answered you before. I have answered. Today we do not "distribute tickets" anymore(?). You said you did it in the correct order, then Monday you come to..." She didn't finish the sentence he immediately objected because he knew that she was trying to evade the matter: "Registered already!".

Next she raised her hand, said to the woman took video: "Miss, please don't film me!". Immediately another female cadre spoke up with a challenging voice: "If we talk properly, we don't need to be afraid of "it"!" She called Vietnamese people by "it"! He continued to say: "People have the right to supervise..." At this point, a female cadre's voice rang out and ordered the female cadre to wear a black long-sleeved T-shirt: "Don't talk anymore! Go inside. Don't talk anymore!". She immediately got up and left very quickly but returned to sit down again. He was outraged: "The government doesn't answer the people when they ask". No matter how angry he was, she sat still, said nothing, and raised her eyebrows while looking down. As if showing disdain, treating him as nothing.

The woman also criticized: "District officials are so weird! Can't solve then silence". The young man just said a few more words, she immediately got up and left quickly with a hostile and angry attitude. He still continued to express his anger: "People only need an answer to let people know how. When this clip is posted on social networks, nothing is illegal! If the people do right!" The woman continued: "Now all the officers have left. No one here. Who is going to solve this now? I don't know!". The young man pointed at the wall clock. 10:15AM. The woman also confirmed. Then she pans the camera to get the whole scene. There are many people here also waiting to receive relief money. But in the end, they just kept silent and stood looking at each other helplessly. The woman said one last sentence: "Oh my god, people are angry but can't be solved!".

Through this incident we can see: When people reflect on injustice and lack of transparency, Vietnam's communist government only keep silent and hide, completely not daring to face people's anger. They are all eligible for relief. The staff here just said: "The city's money has not come down! Give priority to households who are really difficult." The next morning, October 31, 2021, the government here replied: "The settlement has expired". In the end, people still don't have 1 cent. Vietnamese people only know helplessly living in constant suffering without any hope.

The Vietnamese government does not take care of the people, does not give relief money and vaccine aided by the US to the Vietnamese people. Now they are suffering because of directives 16 and 16+ of the communist government, especially in HCMC.
