Here's some Mario Kart music trivia: There's not a single Mario Kart track made entirely out of kart sounds so I give the whole soundtrack a 0/10

In the animal crossing track for mk8, if you go near nook's cranny, you can actually hear the theme to nook's cranny play, this happens for all 4 seasons

Funny story about the Super Bell Subway one. A while I was listening to some Mario Kart Music and thought I would check out songs I never took the time to actually listen to. Not only was I shocked that there was a second underground version with some killer slap base, but there was also the big surprise of the underground theme. Quickly became one of my favourite race tracks (yes I mean tracks in both senses of the word).

I’d LOVE for you to tackle the Kirby series- that franchise is LOADED with musical nods - especially in forgotten lands case - like how the boss prelude theme (from RTTDL) sneaks it’s way into Meta Knights boss theme

So fun fact Toad Harbor has basically the same theme as 8's Rainbow Road. Basically the entire song is the same just different tones. I sorta accidentally gaslit myself and a bunch of other people into thinking that it was actually Sunshine Airport that had the "same theme" as Rainbow Road when that was actually just???? Not true???? I dunno why I thought that was the case and I even doubled down on it by tricking myself into hearing different parts in different sections. But yea it's actually Toad Harbor that shares the same theme as Rainbow Road, not Sunshine Airport. Sorry to anybody I may or may not have tricked with the original comment.

There's one bit of Mario Kart music trivia that I've always loved but never seen anyone talk about. All of the awards ceremony themes across the series have the same descending 3-note motif (I even made a playlist with all of them)
