One thing that differentiates Aurora from other artists is that her "sad" songs aren't "hey i'm sad let's party until the sun comes out" or "i am all alone" type of songs. Her songs are sad, but in the way that reminds us that IT IS OKAY TO FEEL SAD, it is okay to feel down. That is what life is about. All we need is to remember how it was to feel alive. And in her songs, we are encouraged to free ourselves of our emotions, even if her songs sound weird to mainstream listeners.

I finaly understood this song and the whole album. It is so beautiful. It is about waking up, about realizing and being aware of the bad things and the good things in this world-universe. She says it is growing tall because are always learning more and more about it, as humans and as individuals. It is called infections of a different kind because when you realize of all the things happening all over the world and ampathize with all the beings experiencing hem (humans and not humans). You start "getting ill" of the infection of love and empathy and careness and will to make things better. It is an infection, but just a different kind of infection. It is so beautiful that tears start comming out of my eyes. This is one of my favorite works of art ever and so far.

I can't listen to this without crying. Every time I know she's gonna song "if there is a god, would he then believe in us?" but i still lose it. "Be a god in the shape of a girl" is practically a call to action. Aurora's voice is a gift.

It gives me chills in the spine how this song sums up everything that is happening now in the world. We are the "infection" but of a different kind, we are intelligent but we are seeking our own destruction. We are infecting the world, we are the ones to blame for the things that is happening. "If I am the world when why would I hurt all that is living" we blame the world for the calamities yet it is our own fault people die. Wildfires, floods, global warming etc. "If there is a God would we even know his name" we worshipped money and other material things this world could offer that we forgot to believe in someone greater than ourselves. And that "he would shake his head". There is more to this song but it haunts me everytime I listen to this song and thinks of what is happening to the world. We cant afford another war have humanity not learn a lesson from the past two wars? We need to fix ourselves and the world. With Aurora's songs I can say to my self everything is going to fine.
