She was age 34 here. Not the typical age for starting rockers! GOOD FOR HER

Debby's voice never cracked. She knew her range . She mastered her range and she stayed in it . That is talent .

Way back in the day while crossing our great nation on an old Harley, I saw a sign said Blondie live. I said to myself, what's a blondie. So, I got a ticket, 6 bucks and went in. Fell in love that day. Debbie Harry commands a great band with that fantastic voice and perfect looks. Been a fan since that day. At 67, I still crank it up here. Oh, still riding daily too. lol
  • How pure is her voice live... most artists can't sing half as well live... she is a unbelievable..

im 61 and loved the raw sound of Blondie in their early days

no auto tune, no computer enhancement, no gimmicks.....just pure talents

Clem Burke is probably one of the best pop rock drummers, he is absolutely amazing!!! He has so much energy, just fantastic!!!!!
  • It's impossible to overstate the impact of this band. Revolutionary is banded around way too often but you had to be there to grasp it. Phenomenal every single member

We live in an age where the most mundane is recorded forever. So glad that this gig somehow makes it through the fog; it's pure joy.

What a fantastic band. Debbie was my first crush - I was only 4 when this was filmed but my dad gave me his record player and vinyl when I was 10 and Parallel Lines was among them She is absolutely captivating, her confidence, beauty and voice is all so natural

Just blown away by this. One of my all-time favorite bands. I was 17 in 1979. Those were the days.
  • Raw vocals, raw talent...it’s a real pleasure to look back at how amazing these years were, and wonder how it all went so wrong...
  • @jkrycz
I think a lot of people overlook how sick ass awesome Blondie were as a like actual rock band. If you listen to live boots from this era they reliably fucking killed it in performance, on top of just having their own great material.

I never appreciated how tight of a band Blondie was. We didn't realize just how good a band they were cause we were all so in love with Debbie. I was anyway. I never really saw them as more than a back up for her till I got older and realized just how good they really were. Sorry Blondie. It's so great that this is available to us. This is amazing.

She’s amazing. Just off the charts in every way! I believe that she’s 34 years here!!
  • Debbie's voice and Clem's drums are loud and in the spotlight because this is a soundboard recording. And I agree they both sound fantastic! I would also add that Chris and Frank's guitar work is awesome too...just a bit quiet on this recording. What a band!
  • @paulpmarin
This time in my life in America was so peaceful and fun! We just wanted to dance and listen to raw music...and the beautiful Debra was an added bonus!
  • @ENGABU1
God what a band...easy to forget how bloody good they were. DH has such a presence...one of the great voices.
