I was/am entirely thrilled that a lot of my personal Debbie Harry and Blondie footage, which I painstakingly captured with my video equipment at many live shows for so many years, is used in this production. A&E/Biography contacted me and I sent many hours of rare film from obscure appearances. I couldn't be happier!

What I love about Debbie is that she is unique and not just a copy of someone else

A friend of mine who was a chef for Conrad Hilton, told me that Deborah was his favorite celebrity that he met while working for the billionaire. He said that there were times when she would help out in the kitchen when things got crazy busy. Zero ego whatsoever, a very down to earth person ❤

Fascinating. What an exciting career Debbie has had. I wish she'd been offered more acting roles, I think she'd have really shown what she could do.

You can see undertones of depression/melancholy in her demeanor, but what an inspiration- she never let depression hold her back from life like so many do. And the melancholy undertones lend her personality depth and mystery which naturally draw people in. What an amazing person and a true star🌟. Grateful to her for making life for unqiue women easier in the US. She paved the road for so many.

I was so stunned when I read her autobiography 😢the poor beautiful woman went through some horrendous events in her life and still came out on top. Amazing, beautiful, intelligent one of a kind❤❤

I remember 1979 and buying Blondie’s Heart of Glass 45 record single at 9yrs old. This video compilation is great. Got to learn about the band and all the hard work they put in. Well done👍 And thank you for the video. My wife does YouTube…it’s a full time job to make videos 🙂

  • I was stationed in Europe when I first heard Blondie! That was at the end of my 2.5 years in Europe. I knew I was heading back to America with some new and exciting Music! Blondie rocked!

In the early 80’s when I was a kid her style and song Rapture attracted me and I was in awe…even at such a young age! And she was born the same year as my mom ❤

Has been my favourite artist since the mid 70's, and no one comes close. She is a gorgeous woman with the most beautiful voice.

I was a young pre-teen getting ready for school in Northern New Jersey when during the WABC-AM morning show, Imus in the Morning, I heard Heart of Glass. I LOVED that tune with its contagious rhythm and lyrical hooks driven home by the catchy voice of Deborah Harry. I enjoyed hearing that song and the other Blondie radio hits each morning.
