Jack, the shoes you were supposed to be wearing were in broad daylight in the giant wardrobe. It even gave you a prompt to put them on! You were too busy monologuing to the camera to notice. But, yeah, that's where they are.

Dude, the whole "being aware of your breathing" thing always got to me as a kid. Whenever I became aware of my own breathing, I would have to make myself breathe until I forgot again. I don't know wtf was wrong with me, but it bothered me a lot and I would feel winded if I didn't make myself breathe.
