  • Where do you rate the Undertaker/CM Punk match at WrestleMania 29 in terms of Taker streak matches - high or low? Let us know in the comments.
  • @b-rye223
So happy someone finally asked him this question and about the match alone. One of Taker’s best Mania matches
  • @Varone26
Punk vs Taker was Takers last pristine Mania match. I was there live and man they stole the show that night.
  • @TheTalk23
The fact that a legend like taker said he would never stop someone's push says a lot. No wonder he is the most respected person in all of wrestling.
  • @cornball0072
Punk mentioned his problem was never wrestling Taker, he just wanted the Main Event of WrestleMania 29. He actually proposed the idea of wrestling taker for the title (would have been day 500) at Mania in the Main Event.
  • To think that CM Punk was Undertaker's last opponent in WWE Wrestlemania before his streak got broke by Brock Lesnar
  • @KaiBuscusHD
That mania match with Punk was A CLASSIC!! STOP LYING I LOVE THAT MATCH😂😂
  • It pains me how much people say things without finding out if it's true or not. But NOW we heard it from the man himself. He doesn't hate CM Punk. The vibe I get from that response is that Undertaker has the same amount of respect he shows for all his fellow wrestlers. It's unlikely that Undertaker has heat with anyone, unless they have really pissed him off, and even in most cases he gets over it. Like the time that Hogan told everyone that Undertaker hurt Hogan's neck with the Tombstone Piledriver and his head didn't even hit the chair (let alone the floor). EVEN THEN, Undertaker forgave Hogan for that little stunt. Personally, I thought that Undertaker VS CM Punk was a great match.
  • That was a great match, and a great storyline. Taking a real-life tragedy with less than a month out from the match and building a storyline around it. I’m sure Paul Bearer would have loved it.
  • Mark Calaway took what should have been a career destroying gimmick and made it cool. He was like Sting. When he realized the cartoony, supernatural stuff was passe, he figured out how to reinvent himself. The guy came out in sweats for a promo and was still cool. And unlike all the politicians, he did what was right for business. Wins and losses mattered far less than the story and the match. No one else could have been that character and gotten over long term. He’s truly one of the greats.

I absolutely love Taker's "I'm too old for this shit" look whenever some kind of backstage beef is brought up. Just completely over all the rumors.
  • @NoctuaOlivae
Funny how the only people who seem to dislike Punk are the "EVP's" & friends vying for the top spot who felt threatened by his success.
  • Punk don’t got heat with Taker. That was Takers last best match. He was pissed with Vince. NOT Taker. They want Taker to hate Punk because they hate Punk.
  • @Shin-Blade
I love the fact that Undertaker minds his own business, work and get paid for it. To hell with what the "experts" say...
  • Punk has spoken highly of Taker several times, including when Taker retired! I mean I’m sure they disagreed on a lot and Punk definitely does have a chip on his shoulder but he definitely doesn’t seem to be as toxic as people say he is. So many people still speak highly of working with him. Rock, Cena, Taker, Sting, Darby Allin, Bret Hart (who rarely talks highly of anyone), FTR, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, Batista (who’s literally best friends with the guy despite being close with Triple H so that shows too that he doesn’t care who you’re friends with, he’ll still be friends with you despite not liking some other people you hang around, same with Danhausen and Adam Cole who are friends with The Elite, hasn’t stopped him from being friends with them!). Doesn’t seem “toxic” to me. 🤷‍♂️ He’s definitely opinionated and and a bit antisocial but he admits that. But obviously he’s willing to do business despite any feelings he has for people. 🤷‍♂️

WM29 at Metlife was great and the match between UT and Punk was a classic.
  • @seanbonella
taker has no beef with punk, he would say it if he did trust me....both great guys
  • @serbonkers4130
Punk VS Taker was so underrated. They really stole that Wrestlemania. The build to their match was so epic.
