  • St Eliz is in dying need for help, no food, no light, no jobs, no water. Our government and JPS has abandon us completely. It is too shameful to look at down here. Imagine our house inside stink and taken over by flys and magots, no water to flush the toilets. TVJ needs to come in and showcase our plight to the world so we could get immediate help down here.
  • No water in parts of St. Elizabeth. Thank God that all the wells of yesteryear were not dumped as we have to depend on our good neighbors with wells to get water for our domestic purposes. When we go out of the area we beg a little pipe water for drinking or buy, for those who can afford to. WATER IS LIFE...whose slogan is this?
  • @carolisa456
JPS contractors are asking residents to pay $100,000 to have electricity restored in some Westmoreland communities
  • I really think that there are certain amenities in a country that should really not be privatized. As for Jamaica basically everything is privatized. That's really a shame
  • Yes St Elizabeth was one of the hardest hit and there is nothing done yet
  • Ballards Valley in St. Elizabeth is still without electricity, and the internet and mosquitoes are killing us . Up until now, not even a sweety, I haven't recovered from any government agency
  • @Jam-wi6ll
JPS lying about the percentage of reconnection. THEY ARE LYING.
  • No fogging done in black river, st. Elizabeth since hurricane
  • Retreat in St Mary and joining areas have no water no light jps is lying big time
  • Jamaica needs a electricity Competition so the people would have a choice ,cause the JPS is always slow in giving and repairing the service. And overcharging the residents. The government should intervene what’s the MP for their communities are doing to help the citizens.
  • Overtaking around a bend..😮😮 hopefully lessons for the others.
