This is a 1999 Nissan S15 Silvia and it's famous for its tuning capabilities and drifting prowess, however, it was never sold in the United States. Finally, these cars are starting to turn 25 years old, which means they can legally be imported to America. We are thrilled to be offering this S15 Silvia for sale on CARS & BIDS!! Today I'm reviewing this Nissan S15 Silvia and I'll show you all the many quirks and features. I'll also get behind the wheel and review the driving experience.

Really shows how far Nissan fell through the 2000s
-
Who’s old enough to remember when Doug would crawl into the back seat for our viewing pleasure?
-
I remember when these were new and drooling over them in Super Street and Import Magazine. I was 13 and wanted to drive so bad lol
-
Man, I forgot how beautiful the S15 is...
-
you know its a 90s car when its not over styled like hell. simple minimalist lines
-
Doug finally reviews an schassis. Miraculous.
-
Technically, the most powerful North American Silvia-derived model was the 80s S12 200SX. We were the only market to get it with a 165hp VG30E from the 300ZX.
-
What a great example! The S15 Silvia is probably my favorite JDM of the 90’s above the GT-R actually. Love the simplicity of the lines, low roof and has aged greatly.

Hey Doug, the reason the signal stalk position isn’t uniform on right hand drive cars is because Japan has it on the right side (closest to the door), but in the mid 80s (I think) the UK introduced legislation to have their vehicles and their stalks match the rest of Europe. So if you’re in a RHD and the signal stalk is on the left, it’s most likely a UK market vehicle.

Cool to see this in real life, I have one in every itineration of Gran Turismo.
-
This car is in crazy good condition for 25 years old
-
Days when NIssan still made beautiful cars...... and fun cars.
-
Old JDM cars are really cool
-
It's crazy these cars are 25 years old now... I bought my s14 when it was only 6 years old!
-
S15's are stunning...really wish we had them in the U.S. when they first came out but we only got up to the S14 and I'm sure this one will go for a lot of money.
-
Doug’s the kind of guy who floats in the air when he smells pie
-
I know everyone loves the GTR but for me THIS was my dream JDM car the S15 is just such a great looking car out of the box, I’d love to be able to own one of these one day,
-
Weird to see a completely stock s15

I love the big news that the car is for sale on Cars and Bids. Always a huge surprise 😀
