Jacques walks us through the recipe for Eggs Jeannette. Eggs Jeannette is an essential recipe for Jacques that his mother used to make for him. Hard cooked eggs, yolks removed and mixed with garlic and parsley, then returned to the whites and sautéed stuffed side down. Finally they’re served with a mustard vinaigrette. A very easy-to-do, delicious, and unusual way to enjoy eggs. Happy cooking!

My mother would be proud of me 😭😭😭 I love this man! He’s so pure to watch and learn. One reason why I started cooking.
  • He is like a warm hug. I watch him just to hear his stories. The food is a bonus

Love the way he says "My Mother." In those simple words, it's very clear how much he cherished her.💙

Dammit, I love this man. He seems to pure and genuine when he cooks and reminisces about his childhood and family.
  • Anyone else here who got obsessed at one point about french omelets because of this amazing guy? I certainly did! I drove my wife nuts for 2 months trying to get them just right. My son, who is 8, only will eat them that way now. ☺️ Any other kind of omelet gets a death stare from him. Lol! I have learned more about cooking from Chef than anyone else I can think of. A true living legend and he's still there teaching people all the time. ♥️🙏🙏🙏

"persillade is the signature of home cooking" 🥰, I'm a French Lady who adores persillade ... and Monsieur Pepin , I have just discovered this gentleman on youtube, he has the best of France and America, no fuss, gentleness and savoir faire. A warm hug to our American friends. ❤

My French grandmother used to make eggs like that. The memories came flooding in; I was teary-eyed but smiling!

You can see the little boy in him shining through here as he's cooking. Watch his slight mannerisms and you can tell he's getting more and more excited as he's reminded of his mother cooking those eggs for him.
