The amount of trust Kirito has in working mechanics in that Bethesda+ grade bugfest of a game is astounding.

Stoned Kirito: "Some people died. And who's fault is that?" Asuna: "YOURS." Stoned Kirito: "That's right. No one's." Considering Kirito's trauma towards the words "your fault" and death in general this was just a really interesting scene.
