  • I've grown up in Afrika and I still live in Zambia....funny thing is I've learnt more from this channel than my school...all we learnt was European history and David Livingstone Edit: thanks for the likes my highest on YouTube

As an American I never had the opportunity to learn so much about the wealth of history about the continent of Africa and the variety of cultures and empires there in public school. I’m really grateful for the education this channel provides!

Its crazy that I, as an African, am learning about some of this stuff from the internet and not from school, because our education system is built to teach us about European history and European religion instead of our own. Thats a bit mad
  • I live in the Caribbean and I've haven't heard much about my African history, The more I listen to different topics of my ancestry that you have taken the time to research and narrate, The information makes me feel so powerful on the inside. Thank you from King to King for the information to restore my Soul.
  • Good video. Jomo Kenyatta said " when the missionaries came they had the bibles and we had the land. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed, when we opened them we had the bible and they had the land".

Can’t imagine all the time and research needed to make these. Appreciate your work

“We must learn from the mistakes of our ancestors” Words of true wisdom. Love the channel, keep up the good work

This is amazing.. This is the type of history we need to learn in school.. I've lived in 3 African countries over the past 20 years and visited a couple more,, I can undoubtedly say the countries that are better off are those that cherish their culture, from music and dressing to food and rituals. I've also seen and learnt that by losing one's history one loses identity, and when identity is lost, so is ones future.

The reason Africa fall, is because we talk too much and we always trusting everyone except our own 🇯🇲.
  • @seldomseenG
Easily forgiving has been our Achilles heel, then and NOW....

I'm so tired of learning about Ludwig kraft and some colonial settlers' history in Kenya, I'm guessing nearly all of Africa. This is what we should be taught in school. Things that will help us learn about where we came from, who we came from, and how to raise the motherland again!

I'm in disbelief that I was never taught in school. This has to be the most mind-blowing information I've ever heard. It sound so fake but I know it cant be because it just makes so much sense, its incredible! African History needs to be taught around the world because Africa is quite literally the motherland.

How Africa is gonna get out the situation they are in right now? 1: stop depending on outsider to solve all our problems for us 2: if you are African and you’re are intelligent stop talking your knowledge to These European nations and start spreading it to your people 3: we need to start learning our own history and stop learning European history 4: we need to make inventions so our people have jobs 5: we need leaders that care more about our continent than just keeping money for themselves 6: learn from our history so it doesn’t repeat itself 7: stop blaming the white men for our problem nothing you do can change what happened in the past. The African continent has the most resources than anywhere else we just have to find a way to use them properly. Love from 🇬🇲🇬🇲
  • Another excellent dissertation! Please continue these topics. I am gladly supporting!

Great video as usual. Thank you for the research. I know Black Panther was a fiction movie but most of the gates you mentioned ( diversity, resources, ...) were turned into assets in Wakanda. Overall it was its defense technology that kept the kingdom safe. Even now our continent does not have the technologies it needs to defend itself. I think it was one of our weaknesses then and it still is now.
  • Ima keep it super real, this channel really opened my eyes. Americans are trained from the moment they're born to see Africa as a flea-ridden trash bin. I now know that Africans have just as rich of a history as any other continent. Keep this up, man.

The desertification of North Africa was actually a blessing in disguise. It made it difficult for those to travel through the Sahara, like invading romans, mongols, etc.from venturing too far
  • Awesome presentation 👏🏿! It is a very powerful weapon in attaining truth and putting the info attained to use for betterment!!!
