Ever wondered what the masterpiece 'Saving Private Ryan' would've looked like if it was shot from the German perspective? Or on a budget of £30 with an inadequate amount of actors? Wonder no longer! Anyway, we would like to thank Star Trek: Fleet Command for sponsoring this video, check out the game here: wehy.pe/y/1/Squire

Yes, welcome to our addition of Saving Private Reinhard. Let's see if this one stays up. Anyway, we'd like to thank our sponsor, Star Trek Fleet Command. Check out the game here: wehy.pe/y/2/Squire
  • I love they brought up the Czechs trying to surrender and then the Americans gunning them down
  • @enigmatruecrime
"Do you think when the Americans get up here they might be a little bit cross with us" - Some Random German Soldier - 1944
  • "Your brothers were killed in action" "That can't be! My brother is still in primary school!" smiles in hitlerjunge
  • Only missing the cartoonishly evil SS commander having an argument with the misslead but heart-of-gold Wehrmacht officer over prisoners or something.
  • @anemoia2661
8:33.... the absolute climax of Saving Private Reinhart, that hat throw is Oscar worthy
  • If they did a Russian version of Saving Private Ryan, it would be 1 minute 40 seconds long. It would be a single soldier informing the commisar about the missing brother and replying with, "so, and?" Then it ends with the commisar ordering the execution of the soldier for wasting his time, then shoots the guy that shot him, then himself.

young american Soldier: going through hell on Normandy German eastern front Vet: First Time?
  • @oriontaylor
“Oh, and you’ll have panzer support!” If only you had the opportunity for a running Goliath remote control tank as the tiny amount of tank support! XD
  • The guy who played that major did a brilliant job. Obviously tongue-in-cheek but somehow still terrifying.
  • @Masada1911
6:40 quite the extensive cast you’ve assembled there Squire
  • @Analog_Mind47
The Captain would never visit Private Reinhart's grave as his body was misidentified due to his German issue dog tags only containing his Unit Number and fell victim to the common mistake of German troops accidentally switching theirs. Not that he tried though, he spent the remainder of his life Hiding in Argentina
  • @Iron-Bridge
Love how it starts with the German infantryman Reinhardt using his non range MP40 like a long range rifle 🤣🤣
  • @StickTheGlue
I love all the production value of the uniforms, weapons and locations and the binoculars are still gaffer taped tubes with shoe laces... never change 😂
  • @EvilLordBane
Loved it. And thank you for pointing out the historic fact that 100% of the landing craft used in the D-Day invasion belonged to the Royal Navy. The US naval landing craft fleet was committed to the Pacific Theater of Operations. It's one of those things that never quite made it into the history books used in schools here in the US.
  • "In fact, I'd wager this entire thing is a British plan" lol very clever 😂
  • @takakocaesar579
The british accents make these skits 1000 times funnier. Same energy as Death Of Stalin
  • @jakubhejna6301
Fun fact: I can half-identify with the surrendering guys saying "I'm Czech, I didn't kill anyone". I too am Czech.
  • More skits like this, I need them. We gotta get if 1917 was a German film.
