  • Hate the expression selective mute. Nothing selective about it! Other forms of communication should be available as standard. Some people are non speaking and it's horrifying how they are silenced, excluded and their capacity and agency denied. It's a civil rights social model problem. Speech chauvinism must end. Putting pressure on people to communicate verbally is wrong.
