The Witcher 3 Soundtrack - The Wolven Storm (Priscilla's song)

"The Wolven Storm" from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as heard during the quest "Broken Flowers".

This is the cleanest version of the song as anyone is going to get, unless CDPR decides to release a properly mastered version themselves. This audio track was put together from the game's sound asset files. It's completely free of in-game noises and has not been processed in any way (except to stitch it together since the game stores it across multiple files).

A real witcher player will never skip this cut scene in witcher 3

Something I find very touching about this whole scene is that Geralt hates poetry, but then he comes to this Inn to find Priscilla and she sings him a song about his feelings towards Yennefer. Feelings that are very tender and dear to him, despite his harsh exterior. In just a few verses, Priscilla manages to make a statement to Geralt; this song is like her saying: "I know who you really are, you don't fool me. It's okay, I accept you exactly as you are". And just like that, these people who have never met, who couldn't possibly be more different, become friends before they've even exchanged a word.

Such a mind blowing game, and this song & scene come out of nowhere. I wish the game could go on forever, life feels a little empty after completing it.

This game left me the same sensation as when I finish a good book. A pinch of sadness plus the feel that I will miss the characters. Anyway, time to read the books.

Never realized until my second play through that elements of this song are woven into the Skellige ambiance music (where Geralt reunites with Yen and potentially discovers/seals his love for her). CD Projekt Red are masters of detail, nuances and subtleties that reward you with each subsequent play through. Witcher 3 is truly a work of art.
  • Imagine the nostalgia we’ll all feel in 20 years when we remember to listen to this again. Love to all ♥️

Such a beautiful moment in the game, and one of those rare moments when Geralt can get some peace and quiet... And then that chick from White Orchard ruins the moment. Thanks, lady.

One of the true moments of beauty in such a harsh game, which I unashamedly admit nearly brought me to tears, it was just so unexpected

This proves that the Witcher 3 has something so many games these days seem to lack. Not attention to detail, not amazing graphics, not even a masterful story (that I have yet to finish... curse my foolishness). This game has a soul.

"The wish I whispered when it all began Did it forge a love you might never have found?" This line gave me chills when i first heard it, as someone who has read "The Last Wish" novel

I had my first dance with my wife at our wedding to this song two days at castle ksiaz in Poland

This scene is like a refuge from a storm. This - and a few others, like the one with Yen after dealing with the Djinn - feel like nice little moments of peace that are just long enough to let you catch your breath but not long enough that you get bored

Also, I highly recommend riding Roach around the wilderness at least once with the game muted and this playing. It's legit. Especially if it's raining. 11/10

Recently only started playing Witcher 3 for the first time, got to this part yesterday and I literally sat there quiet throughout the whole thing in amazement.....

It baffles me that people don't realize this is a ballad about Geralt and Yennefer's love story. They weren't exactly subtle with the lyrics.

    * Geralt subjected to an evening of poetry * Geralt: Oh come on.... Zoltan: This is true poetry. - Geralt after he watches the song - Geralt (in his mind): GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL
  • These scars long have yearned for your tender caress To bind our fortunes, damn what the stars own Rend my heart open, then your love profess A winding, weaving fate to which we both atone You flee my dream come the morning Your scent, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep The wolf I will follow into the storm To find your heart, its passion displaced By ire ever growing, hardening into stone Amidst the cold to hold you in a heated embrace You flee my dream come the morning Your scent, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep I know not if fate would have us live as one Or if by love's blind chance we've been bound The wish I whispered, when it all began Did it forge a love you might never have found You flee my dream come the morning Your scent, berries tart, lilac sweet To dream of raven locks entwisted, stormy Of violet eyes, glistening as you weep
