Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, commonly referred to as ML or MLBB, is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed and published by Moonton. Released in 2016, the game grew in popularity worldwide, most prominently in Southeast Asia, and has since crossed the 1 billion downloads feat, with peak monthly players of 100 million.
Announced on June 5, 2020, Project NEXT was Moonton's next big project slated for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's 5th year anniversary. This included changes in user interface, revamps to several older heroes' 3D models, skill sets, stories, and voice lines. New login events, exclusive cosmetics, and a new hero was introduced with this update. Project NEXT was divided into three phases: The first phase was released on September 22, 2020, the second phase was released on June 15, 2021, and the third phase was released on September 21, 2021.
In spite of the massive changes that the game had during the previous years, no one can deny that the old times were also the better days. In this video, let us turn back time and witness the evolution of Mobile Legends Heroes from 2016 to 2021 in terms of model changes.

I started in 2016, I saw the heroes going from 15-20 to like 40 and go through so many changes. Some of them I miss honestly

I remember playing ML in its early days and deleted it because I have no more memory. I started playing again last year with my new tablet and damn was I shocked seeing a ton of changes. I thought I still played the same game. Turret shields, hero changes, and new skills for old heroes. My favorite was Akai back then with his weight ball instead of a fishing rod. Although most of the changes look great. I want old scary bane back!! Edit: 412 likes that is the most I got so far 0_0 Thanks :)

I love new kagura's skillset more as it allows the player to be more versatile tho i'd prefer if her dmg was higher. Even so, I really wish that the old look, especially her umbrella animation was kept, so beautiful.

Damn, I've been a clint main since 2016. still remembered he was considered a support in the early days of ML, but as time goes on, he became older in the artstyle and now considered as one of the powerful MMs in the game

I'm proud of myself because I've actually seen the 1st model of these heroes cuz I played MLBB ever since 2016. What I miss the most are the jungle item,Nana's ultimate where she can summon a huge mushroom for cc effect and damage and Bane's ultimate where he can summon a huge ship ( i like it more than the current shark Bane ult )

Real players remember old Yun Zhao being the best character in the game with his ult, made him immune to everything. Alucard being a Dante rip off, Natalia having 2 second silence on passive plus being able to dodge turret shots with smokebomb. Hell I remember there was a spell called “ interference” where u can just silence turrets and dive anyone in the game.
