Sure the Ghost Rider movies might rubb some people the wrong way but for me I love them. Nick brought out his own charm into the character and owned it. The Ghost Rider from the show is cool but this one is OG

Nicholas Cage pushed to play Ghost Rider because he is a fan of the Comic and he felt that he could do the character justice with his crazyness and Nic-things. Also the skull is an exact replica of Nics actual skull from an MRI.

My favorite part about the transformation sequence is that, like Wolverine, they really sell that this isn't painless. He's literally burning from the inside out, his brain boiling, his mind fracturing as it bonds with the Spirit of Vengeance. Sure, he gets used to it, and maybe it gets easier when he embraces it, but he still feels every bit of it.

I love how they did the graphics for the Penance Stare, as well as the mechanics of it. Turning someone's sins around on them and burning out their eyeballs in the process is a worse fate than death, in my mind.

I really hope they do a reaction to the sequel. I can't wait to see what they say about the "pissing fire" scene.

I remember going to see this at the theaters and honestly it's so cheesy but I remember seeing johnny blaze transform to ghostrider and I was blown away. I grew up loving those older marvel movies pre-mcu like spiderman, X-Men, fantastic four, punisher and this movie. They were just so cool to me as a kid and they just make me feel so nostalgic. But idk if I could take Nicholas cage seriously as Johnny Blaze now tho. 😅
