Hey ya’ll, this is a really real video of the reasons behind why I quit smoking, what Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome is, & how my mental health has been since giving up weed. I hope this can help anyone else in a similar situation and educate those who are unaware of this condition. I smoked weed for 14 years straight, almost every day. I was lucky enough to have almost no side effects. The first week I was agitated and moody, could not sleep very well, but eating was never a problem. I think mostly because I was working out almost every day even though I was a stoner and when I quit I worked out even more. That helped me stay hungry and detox faster and get my daily dose of dopamine spikes to not feel like shit all day.

Thank you for this video... I’m currently on day 5 of no weed, my emotions, anxiety, depression, anger and appetite are all over the place, I’ve also suffered a lot of morning sickness... I’m glad I came across his video as you have given me a lot of hope. I’m glad that at the end of your video you were doing much better, it makes me want to continue... sending you love and healing 😊
  • I can officially say I’m 16 days weed free and I am still having GI symptoms. (although it has gotten better slowly) I learned a lot from your video so thank you so very much for sharing your very personal journey. You are helping a lot of people I’m sure. Loved the last video clip you posted because you seriously look so much healthier in your face and just overall. Thank you for giving me hope and something to strive for. Wish you nothing but the best. Take care and God bless….😘
  • Have been feeling the need to stop for months now. I was five days clean last week and felt the effects of the nausea and GI issues, but something happened that was super stressful and i caved and smoked over the weekend lmao started today off fresh, no thc for this chick. Thank you for sharing your story ♥️ these videos definitely help.
  • Im on day 8 of quitting weed for this same reason. You're helping me keeping it up... the fullness feeling is sooo real, like a ball of inflammation all the time. I cant wait to feel even better.
  • I just was diagnosed with CHS. I am on day 5 of not smoking. This video honestly gives me hope. I needed direction and your video help me. Thank you please continue to update your journey.

I had it bad and couldn’t stop. My first time to the ER I had diagnosed CHS along with severe sepsis and diabetic DKA. After that I continued to smoke and was in and out of the ER for a year. I went from 155lbs to 120 and I’m 6 foot 2. I was also on benzos prescribed and I just checked myself into treatment. I’m now 4 months with no cannabis and I’m feeling better but will miss the herb.
  • This was extremely helpful and I hope you make more chs recovery related videos in the future . Day 35 def hoping I can enjoy caffeine and maybe even thc in moderation again and this gave me some hope!
  • This is a great video. Nothing but truth. So many people are promoting tips and tricks or taking tolerant breaks and continue to smoke. It’s so dangerous to spread mis information like that.

This helped me alot. Thank you!!

I’m going through the same thing Mackenzie. I’ve been off weed for only 5 days, but today was the first time I woke up not nauseated. I’m still nauseated but it’s not as bad today. I’ve been smoking for 4 years daily, but I want to feel better. Weed is not worth this pain. I’m praying I feel better and better. I have the other problem with this with diarrhea. We’ll get better. I have no desire to smoke anymore, and I smoked for pain from a car accident, but no more.
