Liberals have good reason to fear Pierre Poilievre

It may be that the leader of the Conservative party has been preparing for the job of prime minister his whole life. He once entered an essay contest about “If I were prime minister,” advocating for making Canada a bastion of freedom. As Andrew Lawton, author of the new biography, Pierre Poilievre: A Political Life, discusses with Brian, the now opposition leader’s crusade hasn’t much changed since then. Along the way, as Lawton details, Poilievre has innovated new ways of campaigning, messaging and communicating that have devastated his opponents. The Liberals have never faced a competitor like this before. And while they’re working overtime to make Poilievre seem scary to voters, they might be more scared for themselves. Fear because he is telling tge truth straight out, talking common sense, and exposing the waste, corruption and scandal of this NDP Liberal coalition.

Pierre Poilievre will make an outstanding PM. He truly cares about Canadians whom I am sure will be fiscally responsible.

I’m very much looking forward to Pierre being Prime Minister!
  • We need complete government reform , strengthen our laws to protect us and the country from a government treason. This should never happen in Canada again!

The Liberals are determined to leave a scorched earth landscape before they get trounced from power. Pierre has a very tough job ahead of him which will require a great deal of patience and support from Canadians....when those tough times are part of rebuilding the country it will be important for Canadians to remember Trudeau's reign of terror and resolve never to return to those dark times.

It will be so great to have a Prime Minister who is actually intelligent and qualified for the job not just a spoiled man with a famous last name.
  • Even if Pierre grows horns in the meantime, I'm voting for him. Canada needs to be repaired from the damage of the Trudeau Liberals.
  • In regards to Pierre seeming angry, I believe he is angry. I'd b concerned if he weren't, look what's been done to this country! Those of us who were born in the 70's or b4 know how far Canada had come since 1984 and are beyond ANGRY, we're furious. Did the RCMP not recently express their concern over the growing anger in this country?

I'm not Canadian but if I could vote for this guy, I would.

    Peirre has my vote 🇨🇦🎉
  • Good for Poilievre for being mean when warranted. It is refreshing to see that trait in a society where individuals are touchy feely, given to emotional rants and tears and wheedling apologies for the smallest thing. “You must not hurt anybody’s feelings, sensibilities, genders, beliefs, ideologies etc etc etc….” Is becoming tiresome. Grow up, take the knocks, fall down, get up again! Grow a spine. Grow up in the real world. Pierre Poilievre is awesome.
  • Pierre is very smart. We need someone with common sense to lead 🇨🇦 Bring it 🏡
