The inescapable implosion of Trudeau’s bizarro Liberal party

A collapse of their Toronto—St. Paul fortress is just the beginning. All that remains to be seen is how extensive the Liberals’ inevitable ruin will be once Justin Trudeau’s strange, destructive experiment is over. As Liberal activist and strategist Andrew Perez tells Brian, the prime minister has made the once-mighty, centrist “natural governing” party into something unrecognizable — and likely unelectable — by driving out moderates and effectively merging with the NDP. While pundits and politicos gossip about when or whether Trudeau will quit, Perez says Liberals face a more existential crisis, years in the making. The party is lost. And it’s not clear how, or under whom, it can find its way again. (Recorded June 28, 2024)

  • Pierre Poilievere is very palatable, he is good honest man,who is not an extremist, he is not a homophobe, he is not a mysoginist, he is not going to privatize healthcare…he is a much better human being than Trudeau ever was or ever will be.

The liberals have gone so far left they went right off the cliff.

This is good news. We need a fresh start to rebuild what’s been destroyed. Good lessons taught and learned -never voting Liberal/NDP again.

It’s not just Justin, most of his cabinet is inept and unliveable.

Most Canadians are smarter than Trudeau and Singh think they are. Just watch Justin Trudeau's Canada Day greeting. Then watch Pierre Poilievre's POSITIVE Canada Day greeting. Pierre's message was all about ❤ CANADA! ❤

Every single Liberal MP supported Trudeau and will never get any support. It will take decades to get anyone any new Liberal recognition.
  • Liberals still underestimate Pierre. He is a lot smarter than they give him credit for. In 2020, Pierre, in committee, asked Dodge, from the Bank of Canada won't printing all this money cause inflation. Dodge said no but Pierre was skeptical. Who was right. Pierre

One consolation is that this has to be the last Trudeau Gov't Canadians will have to endure.

You know how Liberals could think outside the box?! They could listen to Canadians, be honest and stop ripping us off just because they can, and stop pushing a ridiculous woke ideology down our throats.

What's the future of the country if 2 provinces tell the rest of the country that they are stuck with a problem for 9 years
  • @ll5568
I’ve heard Poilievre speak about his plans for the running the Federal government. What is doesn’t have a plan for is running /controlling individual lives. That’s what Canadians want, a small government that is barely noticeable. Wouldn’t that be nice!

If they handled it like mature human beings then maybe they could salvage some damage. But they went wacko.
  • @TheGruntski
Can we be honest, Perez? What the Liberals said was that they heard the message from voters but they are not going to change their policies one iota and are actually going to push those policies yet harder. So they gave the voters the middle finger salute. Focus, Perez, focus.

The Liberals could all resign that would fix Canada for ever
  • @lornadoolan1997
😂😂😂😊😊😊 sick of looking at them, sick of listening to them... that's it exactly (referring to the Liberals and NDP)...most Canadian citizens feel this way!
