I mean it was pretty obvious Impulse knew that there would be a trap, the quiz was a bit too easy, but his reaction was great anyways

The funny thing is when impulse ask us who we thought it would be I said grian but it was vice versa and when I found out that grian got impulse I freaked out because I just said that as the first hermit that came to mind

Haven’t seen anyone point this out, but if Impulse was paying attention to the doors he could have known the diamonds were trapped. When Grian explains his three tests, he says a door that faces left is correct while a door facing right is incorrect. The door that lead to the diamonds was facing right and is therefore wrong.
