got the same box on my 661, beast of a machine. i dont think i can be happy with any saw that isnt this one anymore

Jealous of the manual carb. I like mtronic and autotime... but I LOVE tuning by hand. Now if the local stihl dealer will just get my PTO side bearing they were supposed to order in. Lost a plastic bearing cage.. went through transfers. Every other part I ordered online is here waiting. Only "real" damage was the piston crown so now i'm going to give the pop-up piston a go.

You need to show the time difference between between stock vs bark box in the same pice of wood back to back. Other wise it’s just extra noise. Preferably in a stack of 2x4” glued together for consistency.

What’s your thoughts on the barkbox? Seems as though the saw is cutting faster to me

Very impressive! I just got the one with the mtronic carb. I wonder how it would react? I probably won't try it til after the warranty expires.

I've got them on my 660 and 460 running square ground chain. The 460 is twice as fast as the old set up.... big chips. I'll get an aftermarket air filter on ... that is supposed to help as well. Be well scary.
