Hello! I'm from Brazil, and I hardly know any English, however, with this vocal tone and accent I can understand a little without translation and without subtitles. His way of explaining to those who do not speak his native language, English, is very good. My congratulations on the explanation, as I was looking for a comparison between these two broadcast and recording programs. I used an internet translator to type this comment for you, because you deserve to read in English for your beautiful job of explaining about subjects that people seek to answer questions. My thanks!

Awesome assessment. The ease of streamyard is the reason I purchased it even though I have a gaming computer. OBS is way too complicated to make it look awesome.

I would definitely add Stream Yard: - more reliable. If your computer breaks stream remains online and your guest can take over for some time, - recording is not so critical because you have it when streaming to FB or YT - multiplatform (paid version) OBS: - you can record locally in higher resolution (important if you have slower network) - you can use a audio mixer and connect multiple sources including your guest
  • Great video. Thank you. I actually use them both. I use OBS when I am doing broadcasts alone because it is just so powerful, and I use Streamyard for adding guests because it is so darned easy and doesn't require the VAST computer resources OBS does to do the same job. Unfortunately I can't do the cool things like flying in videos and stuff like that but what I am experimenting with is using my second screen and the screen share option to show those videos when I want to. Maybe that will be cool and work like I want.

Subscribed! This is the best video ever. You explain things very well and I liked the paper with the green checkmarks. Very clear and easy to understand! Thank you!

Great info dude! I almost switched to Streamyard because my last laptop....well, you know. But there was just so much that you can do for free on OBS that you have to pay for with Streamyard, that I decided to put up with OBS, even though it was so taxing on my laptop.
  • @paulineenewman
This is perfect and on time since I will be incorporating Interviews on my channel and I needed to know how Streamyard and you covered it very well. Thank you my friend.
  • @vincentjune8812
Fantastic Video, informative, straight to the point, thumbs up from Malaysia !
  • @nemusworld
Did livestream today with streamyard my 2nd livestream, I used OBS studio. As for the experience today with my friends, I choose streamyard. For other fancy features after watching this I want to try OBS. Veryyyy helpful. Thank you
  • I went with OBS, it take a bit to set up but once you know your way around the interface you can do pretty much anything, including colour correction, Audio EQ etc.....
  • @TheRetroEngine
I've tried both - OBS is great for streaming windows programs (games and music and video). StreamYard is great for face to face talking/video only get togethers. For simple graphics display, but no windows programs. StreamYard is great for queueing guests, streaming to multi platforms, comments aggregation and highlighting. So the clincher for me was that I wanted to Stream emulators and Chrome, and OBS did the trick. But I DO use both, so they're great for different things.
  • Thanks for sharing your opinion about OBS and Streamyard and myself using the later because it is much easier for me to use than the OBS.
  • @PracticalFaith
Very informative! I just did my first live-stream last night using Streamyard. It was really easy. I wanted to use OBS, but I worried it would be too taxing on my laptop.
  • Thank you Mmichael. I am learning OBS right now and it does take me some times to learn. I was thinking to switch to StreamYard, but after watching your video. I decided to stick with OBS.
  • Very informative video. Thank you for sharing valuable information. Have a great day. 😊
  • @EGG0FD00MM
obs is tough to learn but when you do it is EXTREMELY powerful
  • @klinx888
Really helpful my friend. Clear, concise and comprehensive. Exactly what I'm looking for!
  • Thank you Michael for this fantastic presentation. I am very new to all of this. I want to teach music online so am searching for patforms and ways of doing this. I have considered using zoom with OBS. Thank you again Michael.
  • Thank you! I was just learning OBS and now considering streamyard for starting a love YouTube show, I like the idea of being able to bring on a guest with three versions. Feeling conflicted.
