You know, after seeing Let's Game It Out completely break this game apart, seeing someone do a simple gameplay is so calming. Loved the video!

A few tips: You don't need to drop all your ores on top of the table, just drop the pan with them in it, the fps won't drop. You can place a cart ontop of the buying platform and put items inside it, and then buy it, you won't run out of space because they lose collision, and I think the 4 wheeler can do that too with it's inventory. You can shovel just a bit of dirt and replace it under the drill where you can see the tip, it will harvest even if it is floating. You can rotate pressure tanks so the opening faces upwards and it is easier to place shard bars. Ores dropped in a crucible with other ores already melted will get deleted. Each tier won't work if they're digging deeper than their correct height tier, and you can notice by the dirt coloration. The more complex the crafted item is, the more value you will get out of your bars, so a 3 piece item will make more out of the same weight than a 1 piece item. Cloutium or superior intake pipes will damage iron pipes because they give too much pressure, and every piece added to the system linearly decreases pressure by 1%. Drills, conveyors, harvesters and any other mechanical pieces work better with higher pressure but not more than their maximum. Shredding chunks of dirt will earn you more ore, since every chunk gives you at least 1 piece of ore.

By the way, the prospecting helmet is used for finding ore veins. Once the cogs start spinning, it means that there is an ore vein in front of you and if you dig towards it and place a drill on it, it will give you more of that ore

I SO want to like this game. But it's so horrifically frustrating that I just can't. But you explain things wonderfully well and humorously.

Dont place pans next to sorters, just place crucibles for every material, ore will automatically drop into crucibles and you just have to click on the crucibles to make bars and you can later cut them into smaller bars whit the saw for villager requests

The helmet is end game stuff. Its wheels start spinning if you are looking to a ore deposit while close to it. Can also use drill too. Its best to use drill first and then go down there to search with helmet. These ore deposits are in some plots. Not always but in big plots for sure. That shop where you bought the helmet is more like end-game shop. No problem.

Condense every Pipe to just one Intake, then place a couple straight pipes and add the 5 Filters to your water line. Your Filters will break instead of your machines. Adding Intakes doesn't increase your pressure so having so many difderent lines is redundant. I ❤LOVE❤ your playthrough because this is how you should learn the game!

Everything about this video is a great example of how this game needs to explain how things work or where they even are, better.

Interesting to see different methods people come up with. Didn’t take me long to realize I could just leave the buckets in the stream so they were always filled with water. You can just do your prospecting there. Then you only have to bring over the shovels of dirt.

Shard ingot’s weight doesn’t matter. Even the littlest is enough to maximize the pressure to.. Well, maximum pressure. You can combine multiple inputs to increase maximum pressure. No problem.

I was going to post a bunch of my tips here, but it looks like Eduardo beat me to it! I'd love it if you could do a 200 days play through, because there's a lot of stuff you missed and even some new DLC. No pressure, of course!
