Green Hell VR is a crazy realistic survival game. Which I've never seen before in a VR game. This is a brand new kind of gameplay for me and it's really fun. I know it was ported from an original Green Hell game that was flat screen. But it feels built for VR. It's a good VR game because it takes advantage of being in VR and being a survival game at the same time.

Thanks a lot for your coverage of the game! We really appreciate your take on Green Hell VR and also your feedback :) We will continue working on the game day by day to polish out all the remaining rough edges, so stay tuned!
  • I bet those other "outdoor" YouTube channels edit out the part where they wake up screaming at the random parasites wriggling around beneath their skin.

“There is nothing to drop, the tutorial broke” the tutorial: PICK UP THE FUCKING CAN

I love how he entirely gave up on life for a second and than he saw a fish and was filled with primal rage
  • 00:35 "Green hell despite being a perfect description of Florida," had me dying that was too funny

Finds banana... Habie: we don't survive, WE THRIVE
  • @someguy7110
I love how he doesn't realize that the shelter isn't finished yet
  • 6:33 I expect death, I'm ready to become one with nature... Ohhhh a fish I want that 😂

When you were referring to the (tripping mechanic) for the mushrooms in this video YOU CAN ACTUALLY DO THAT IN ANOTHER VR TITLE! I found that out back when I was playing the Wanderer VR game so I definitely recommend it! Instead of eating mushrooms tho you lick a blue frog you find and it makes you start tripping out haha

"the tutorial broke, drop over left shoulder. its.. there's nothing to drop" (proceeds to stair directly at a grabable soup can)

habie, I really appreciate having watched you for a while. you've added so many games to my library through your excellent showcases. bravo, dude.
  • Those are worms because you slept on the ground. You need deconstruct bones to make bone needles or kill a fish for its rib bones. You can use them to take the worms out. You can also make bandages from this plant with long leaves and yellow flowers. Also, a stick, two rocks, and a vine makes a good axe.

bro i’ve been obsessed with how in depth this game is, i’m super happy you made a video on it

It would be fun if they made a Vietnam war game on vr where you had to fight the NVA and Vietcong. Like you had to search tunnels and also fight tropical diseases, animals, insects, and where you have to search villages and figure out if people are secretly Vietcong or not. I know it would be a lot in a game but it would be cool to have a game that accurately portrays the Vietnam war.
  • I recently played Green Hell VR and have come to realize that you may actually be as smooth brained as you claim to be. The tutorial was extremely simple and the item you needed to progress was literally just the can directly in front of you with a white dot on it basically "hey, you can literally just use the force on me". I love you and your videos all the same, besides, my smooth brain didn't realize that when you open a hole in your arm to remove worms that you should probably patch them up.
  • 1:26 This actually DOES relate to a primal instinct. The first tools ever used by our ancestors came from Homo Erectus banging rocks together. It was a fundamental aspect of their survival, which lead to the evolution of Homo Sapiens. So I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if some small Erectus part of our brain still gets instinctive joy from that "clack clack clack" of two rocks going at it.

1:54 Oh habie... you were supposed to pick up the CAN on the BOX and put that in your backpack :) now you can do the tutorial (Also tap your watch a few times to sleep)

The progression of VR games is going to be fun to watch. There's so much potential

The fact that they got the average banana carbohydrates correct is so awesome to me because that meant they took the time while making such an amazing game to google about bananas
