Has DK Oldies Changed?

I think you are giving DK Oldies too much credit. They just cleaned it, but they sent it to you broken, missing screws, and with a broken controller. For 300 dollars, even with a warranty, its flat out unacceptable.

Bad controller, bad laser, bad maintenance, good old trusty DK Oldies. Their slogan should be: "We sell YOU the console, you tell US what's wrong with it"

● Faulty Controller ● Faulty Disk Drive ● Missing screws ● Missing thermal pads What an embarrassment DK Oldies ☹️ The bar was set pretty low and they still managed to get under it.

So I got to say I am rooting for sir. As a cancer survivor, officially 25 years this mid August, I am glad to include you in those ranks. To say seeing your vids in between your treatments has been rough, so many memories, however, I’ve never stopped watching and hoping for the best for you. I do not wish this on anyone. DKoldies be like: "they are lying. we test ALL of our Consoles & IF u have a problem u are backed by our "free" 1 year warranty." - meanwhile u paid 300$ for a 140$ console = over 100$+ warranty pricetag for sure

Dude I’ve been watching you for years now you were actually the person who got me into device repairing and how I got a job at sprint (when it was still sprint not T mobile 😅) I never thanked you for all the knowledge I acquired from your videos and how much it changed my life, now I own my own e waste / repair mobile services I also never charge a parent who brings me a broken iPad or game system letting me know their child is sick and this is the only joy they get throughout the day my way to give back. Thank you tho truly thank you

Hey, I stumbled on your videos probably a year and a half ago and when I did, I binge watched everything you had and have watched every new video when it comes out. I want to say thank you because at 26 years old, your videos made me find my passion. I have taught myself how to solder, troubleshoot, and repair just about anything under the sun because of you. You’re a great person and I’m happy that you take the time to make content.

I’ve been watching your videos on and off for a couple years but never subbed. I didn’t know you had cancer, and after looking at your blog I’m so pleased to read you are in remission! I lost my dad 2 weeks ago to cancer, so it’s great to read a success story. Your videos have helped me in the past with maintenance of my old PS4 so thank you, and keep on keeping on! BTW I’ve now subbed!

I think this might be the first ever confirmation for a small ad in a video.. I can 100% confirm that the BW-100 works WONDERS. Back in February, my Halo 5 Elite 2 Controller started having issues. Bumpers stopped working, weird stick drifting/locking, and my A button wasn't firing OR would double fire. I watched your original Elite 2 repair video, so I bought the BW-100, and the Repair kit you always use. After an hour of trying to take it apart 😂, I got in and used the BW.. and never had an issue until literally 2 days ago, same issues. So it's time to clean again!! LOL Honestly guys, the stuff works, and the tool kit is extremely impressive and handy. Also.. that "Thermal Paste" was sus as hell. 😂😂😂😂😂
