The saddest part about The Clone Wars is that you know what happens in end so it makes Anakin's story more tragic
  • The fall of anakin skywalker is the single most tragic and heartwrenching thing in cinema history
  • @hennyh2708
The part anakin said “how would you feel if i become a disappointment “ to obi wan just hits me

One detail I really like about her leaving the order is that it is revealed that in a way, the Jedi Order does not care about her beyond the power she possesses for them. But individual Jedi do care about her. What I mean is that Plo Koon is the only Jedi Council member who actually apologized to her. Saesee Tiin and Mace Windu both claimed that that experience was a trial that "the force" willed them to put upon her. Obi Wan was also about to follow Anakin out the door to say goodbye to Ahsoka, but Plo Koon stopped him. To me, this reinforces the fact that Plo Koon, Obi Wan and Anakin were the only Jedi who really cared about doing what was right for her and the rest saw her as a tool for the Jedi Order.

Ahsoka had the best development. Young, impulsive, and annoying. Then she grew up to be patient, smart, and powerful. Becoming one of the greatest Star Wars characters ever. And one most beloved by the fans. Seriously in the top 5 of all time.

A Jedi so caring that his feelings made him into a monster. Now if that isn't epic storytelling, I don't know what is.

The Anakin and Asohka final confrontation in Rebels is a top three scene in all of Star Wars media. The stakes, the acting, the impact. Right up there with “I am your father.”

Anakin’s 3 stages of life: 1. Creating his demons 2. Becoming his demons 3. Facing his demons
  • Anakin was literally the best, he cares deeply for everybody but that is what drove him to the dark side the fear of losing his people

In the end , ironically , it was the Jedi that turned Anakin to the darkside. He was let down by the very people trying to help him. Leading him to suppress his emotions instead of working through them. Clinging to the old ways , the Jedi destroyed themselves. The real tragedy is not Anakin's fall to the darkside , but the failure of the Order that pushed him away.
  • One of my favorite things about Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship is how he basically raised her to be the best version of himself. She grew to have many of his best qualities, and few of his worst ones. She's proof of the tragedy that had Anakin not let the darkness in him win, he could have in another life been a fine parent. I really wish we had seen more of Ahsoka interacting with Luke (and Leia, while we're at it), beyond that brief blip in Boba. Hopefully we'll see more of the Skywalker twins in the Ahsoka series.

if he cares for ahsoka this much you can imagine how much he cared for padme. it might just seem like a loved one died but its way more than that
  • @dynjarren5454
That moment when Ahsoka stood before Anakin and said she wasn't coming back to the Jedi order minutes after she was invited back...is absolutely the most powerful scene in all of TCW. In that scene they both admit they both have doubts about what they are doing

6:50-7:05 breaks my heart how Ashoka says “The last time I saw him, he was rushing off to save the chancellor. The War ended and the Jedi were accused of Treason, one by one they’re were hunted down”😭
  • @asimimran9739
God, that scene in Rebels... It gets me every time... That one line. "Do you know... what I've become..?" Vader breathes
  • @batwoman4487
Ashoka was abandoned by the Jedi Order. I felt bad for her and didn't blame her for leaving the Jedi Order which kind of saved her life. The Jedi Masters were so blind when they kicked her out of order.

The Clone Wars really redeemed Anakin as a character for me and helped me to appreciate his arc as a character

Ahsoka and Obi-wan are the only Jedi from the order that could fight Anakin one on one. They spent years fighting by his side closely, it's why Ahsoka, unlike many other force-wielders, could fight him with such skill. She spent a huge part of her life fighting by his side, sparring with him and witnessing his strengths and weaknesses in battle. I'm glad they showed this in their battle, especially with her being less conventional and not held back by Jedi tradition.
