The Maritimes are more deserving of this tournament than any other place on earth. Incredible crowd in Halifax, makes it that much more exciting to watch!

The World Juniors have always been my favorite tournament & it's games like these that reinforce why. What a game these teams put on. Awesome.

Games like this are why this tournament is regularly the best hockey of the year. Normally a 6-2 game would be something you turned off at some point, but this was insane.

Crazy how Thomas Milic isn’t drafted. He is guaranteed getting drafted after his performance with 43 shots saved, props to him.

Bedard's line gets all the praise & rightfully so but big ups to guys like Del Mastro, Hines, Zellweger, Clarke who are playing massive minutes on D.

Definitely more of a team effort for Canada today rather than just the Bedard show. I was a little worried, especially after the abysmal start where the USA just completely dominated the game. Fantilli actually had a better game too, which is great because he played awful the first 3 games. USA was a tough opponent, even if the score was 6-2. Definitely props to Milic.

Congrats Canada! Brand new to Hockey just started watching these champs on a holiday to Canada from Australia!! Both teams are impressive and thought heading into this USA may have been too strong based on previous games. US seem to play a fast dominant style whereas Canada seem to be more creative and playful in nature. Not sure if that's reality or just my take! 😀 Canada played some beautiful hockey tonight and very much deserved the win! 🎉

Nova scotia,"P.E.I". Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, New foundland and labrador. Are probably the friendliest people anyone can find in Canada. I've met people from every one of those provinces, the friendliest people I met. I love the east coast of Canada...

As a Czech, I have to say that this is the greatest outcome ever, the Czech Republic vs Canada final, a battle between two best, highest scoring teams. Congratulations Canada, see you in the gold medal game!

I think Canada facing that surprise Slovakia really helped toughen this teams resolve. Can't just waltz to the final and expect to tough it out when you need to. Reminds me of the 2010 Olympic team. Hope Canada brings it home.
