Seeing a World War 2 veteran is now like seeing a ghost from the past, a hero, a legend. It's mythical.

He did the Bulge, this man as seen and lived hell. Lost many friends and gave his all and managed to live through it. To watch what people have done to this country after all those men did in WWII to fight for freedom. God Bless this man.
  • My uncle was a war war 2 veteran, and he was a prisoner of war. He escaped but was torchered. The rest of his troops were killed. My uncle rarely spoke of it. I asked him when I was a kid and had to do a report on a war. I chose war war 2 and asked my uncle if I could interview him with my tape recorder. He gave in and did it. I'm proud of my uncle, I miss his loving smile, joking humor. I am so proud he served our country in war time.
